  1. So so what I have found from taking measurements of the IFG stock 1 and SF Limpro is that the differences in size are very small. Measurements on the stock 1 were taken with the EGD grips so they are thinner than stock. Here is what I found. D is slide width. B is grip width. I’m sure I can take more measurements if there is something specific you want to know. A. Was hard to measure consistently between the two because of the finger grooves on the Stock 1. Stock 1 Limpro A. 53.75 mm 60 mm B. 28.8 mm 30 mm C. 73 mm 74mm D. 25.5 mm 25.5 mm E. 31 mm 35mm
  2. I went up and took measurements of the new “limpro” small frame with calipers. I’m going to take some measurements of my stock 1 and give y’all comparisons. That way you can measure your own and see.
  3. 1st quarter I highly doubt, they are talking with Tanfoglio about it now and will do so at SHOT. The important thing at this point is for you and anyone else interested in the Stock 2L “Australian” to email Tanfoglio directly in Italy and tell them you want IFG to import it. info@tanfoglio.it
  4. I can throw calipers on it and get a width, I can tell you it felt smaller in my hand.
  5. Yeah I knew there would be some disappointment as well. I’m hoping some other large frames like the stock 2L will be available as well.
  6. I’d say late 1st quarter but should know after SHOT. It should take cz mags but I’ll have to confirm.
  7. Yes I think it’s a good thing too but only the market will tell lol. If they sell well that will be a good sign. The whole gun will be black, and I might be able to leak some teaser pictures soon, I’m working on that. Main difference is grip size and magazines. These small framed versions should take cz mags although I haven’t confirmed that.
  8. @PatriotDefense can you help with this you are way more versed with Tanfo than I am.
  9. I was able to get some details on the new “limpro” that IFG-NA will be importing for 2018. Earlier I had made a post about it saying it was going to be the current LimPro imported under a different name, well today I found out that isn’t completely 100% true. The two main differences are that it will be black framed, not hard chromed and the biggest difference which will make some happy and others not so much lol. It will be a small frame not the typical large frame. I know a lot of people have been asking for a small frame pistol so that’s s good thing. Discuss. I’ll answer what I can.
  10. how do they compare to the EGD for flatness?
  11. Absolutely not, IFG NA is a newer company based in Amarillo, Texas, EAA is based somewhere in Florida I believe. They are in now way connected other than they both import Tanfoglio. IFG also imports Pedersoli, Sabatti and FAIR.
  12. The new stock 1 imported by IFG was designed specifically to meet the weight requirement for IDPA.
  13. Gotcha my fault for not catching that. Just hoping we can get Tanfo to allow IFG to import more pistols so I skipped right over the possibility it was a joke lol.
  14. I don’t think it has to do with the .5” is has to do with dealing with someone other than EAA and hopefully something that will have good availability.
  15. It is something they are looking into for sure I can tell you that.
  16. That's a good question, one that needs to be asked of the powers that be at USPSA.
  17. Correct it is no longer imported by EAA, I figured since it is going to be named something different people will want to see it and confirm for them selves it is the LimPro with a new name.
  18. IFG will be importing the “LimPro” next year under a different name. It will be identical to the limpro just with a new name, but it is the Limpro. It will be on display at SHOT Show in the Italian Firearms Booth which houses Tanfoglio, Sabatti, Pedersoli and FAIR. As soon as I get my hands on it I will get pictures and feedback.
  19. Lim Pro's should be avail again in 2018 and the Stock 1 is IDPA legal as well if that is something you are after.
  20. so that would put me at 43.9 nice and thanks for that.
  21. So that minus whatever the factory base plate weighs should put me just under the 45 I believe
