You will enjoy! I shot a Springfield Armory in limited for 2.5 years before the 2011 bug bit me. I still love that plastic gun! Much more comfortable than that g#@%*. Just can't bring myself to say it ? Enjoy!

It is a game and yes you are going to eat lunch afterward no matter the results, but you should still care about your performance. Especially if you carry throughout your day to day life......you will want to hit all your intended targets and what you practice will and does carry over when the crap hits the fan.

We had a guy have this happen during a match, clearing a jam you should remember to also point the ejection port away from yourself and others. This guys brass hit him in the chin and went up the jaw bone

Not U-die specific but this experience may be somewhat relevant as I was using the standard Lee sizing die upon which the U-die is based.
I had an issue when I started a reloading run using CBC cases which are quite stiff compared to the Blazer brass I was using previous: the primer was not being completely expelled by the decapping pin. I lowered the pin about 1/16" below the top of the die (it had been flush) and problem went away. Not sure I understand why the normal flush position wasn't working and I haven't attempted to debug it but one of these days... lol
Not all recapping pins are the same length, that's why they are adjustable. Making sure the tip is blunt will keep it from punching through a primer and causing trouble.

And that is the simple complete answer.

Cool. There are many jersey makers out there and they will let you know which ones require permission. I do know Springfield Armory has you sign a promissory saying will not print anything vulgar on the jersey and will behave in good sportsmanship. Some others may as well.

I dunno about the lawsuit part but I seen the video. Dude had a stream of blood running down his leg and is not freaked out all. Almost like he didn’t know
He very well may not have. My son had a holster issue that set his gun off and he didn't know he had been shot when it happened either. Back to the topic at hand: This is historically a much safer sport than the NFL. ROs as a whole do a good job of handing out safety suggestions and keeping shooters well inside the safety realm. Bottom line is that it all starts with the shooter. What ROs end up doing is always a reactive response, the shooter is the only one who can be proactive once the make ready has been completed. That is one reason that I feel all shooters should take an RO class and help others when ever possible. We help each other with gobs of info on improving our scores and classifications, and most of us put the same emphasis on safety, all of us should. Still accidents happen, equipment fails, and DQs are part of it. Shoot safe=have fun

I do not get upset at anyone but me when I do something stupid and need to be dq'd .
I do get upset when I see somebody who will not call a dq when a safety rule is broken, I think it puts all of the people who are trying to follow the rules in a bad light.
That is not a flame, but if I'm on your squad and you are not enforcing the safety rules then I'm going to change squads if possible or else just go home.
I DQ'd myself one time for an AD during a reload. RO was a friend, but even as friends I told him I would DQ him, so I must be DQ'D. I do agree with Hi power jack, and do have those side conversations and warnings every time I can.

Ok, I am ready to pony up for the MBX. If they run, then I will be happy. I drive 2 hours each way to matches and it sucks to have issues.
Currently running STI gen 2, grams guts and TTI basepads. Match today and tanked 4 of the six stages due to nosedives in first 5 Rds. Both in the big stick and a 140.
Atlas now has their video up on tuning the Gen 2 mags. Will give it a try, but time to tinker is not something I have. Barely have time to live fire practice.
I hate that as well. My MBX have been solid. Hope they are for you as well.

Finally got a rain free afternoon that I could chrono in. Using 4.1 grains of E3 behind a 180 grain blue bullet loaded to 1.185". Chrono says: 940,946,953,948,945,952,951 avg947.86 ran 3 strings with avg each within 3 fps. Very satisfied!

I have put over 40,000 through mine and have had 0 issues. You will enjoy.

Not all that wander are lost.

Mine has ran flawlessly for over 2 years. I have seen benelli's that are picky on what type of ammo they run also. You tune your pistols and ARs for your loads, why would you not tune your shotgun?
-
I will never understand anyone not bringing ample ammo. During the Arkansas Sectional a couple years back the wind started gusting 45 mph and I had to reshoot 3 stages, 1 stage 4 times until the wind finally quit just as mysteriously as it appeared. You never know, so prepare for the inevitable.

Thoughts and prayers to his family. RIP

Just recieved our first double kydex RHT holster, very pleased! Glad to hear y'all are hiring, if I could stay in MS or move out west, I would apply. Congratulations on the growth!

Everyone who is remotely serious about the sport should take the class and pass the test.
I agree. It is in everyone's best interest to understand the rules. I always take my rule book to matches, just in case I need to either defend a ruling or negate one. It will help during stage setup/design, scoring, and so much more. Heck, it might even save you from being bumped from your intended division to "open" division, which is totally, and easily avoidable.

It always calms me down to take a deep breath and slowly let it out as I'm thinking "smooth".
Smooth is the new fast... funny, but so very true.

You are either: part of the solution, or part of the problem.

I too have seen stepped cases divorce during matches. Squib rod is not much help in removal either. It just is not worth having to stop practicing or leave a match over. Chunk the steps!
