  1. Won't work for production but I could not be more impressed with my tactical sport orange.

    Shadow 2

I know it's in a different class but will a shadow 2 outshoot a TSO?
  3. Just shot my TSO yesterday, thing is nuts. 1 hole at 7, super tight groups still at 15, 1-1.5 inch groups offhand twice at 25 yards (could be pure luck).
  4. Shot my 9mm TSO for the first time today and it's an absolute tack driver, I've never shot a gun this accurate and the trigger is a dream. Only hiccup was one live round got jammed in the gun. I fired a shot and the empty ejected but the gun did not go fully back into battery and was locked up. I had to grab the slide and smack the back of the grip pretty hard to dislodge the round. I then reloaded the round back in the mag and loaded it and the gun still didn't quite go into battery so I smacked the back of the slide and it went into battery. I was able to fire the round then ran fine for the rest of the rounds. Long story short, could it be a round out of tolerance on OAL that the gun didn't like? Was shooting 115 winchester white box factory ammo only. Other 99 rounds were flawless. By the way my buffer in the recoil assembly didn't have any wear or visible damage at all after 100 rounds.
  5. Dumb, would buy a specialist at 1600, Trojan should be a $1,200 gun.
  6. Snagged a 9mm TSO from Kentucky Gun Co for $1549, hope they ship it to my FFL soon.
  7. Ended up ordering a 9mm TSO without ever having seen/shot one. I liked the TS enough so dove in. I'll get an Edge later, maybe in .40 if I want to do comp shooting.
  8. For the 9mm TSO owners out there that don't reload, any issues with factory ammo (WWB, Federal etc)? Also I've seen some pretty low trigger weights on regular TS, in the 1.5 lbs range, is the TSO around the same or lighter?
  9. My local Riflegear had a TS for 1200 plus 8.25% tax but I think I'll hold out for the TSO. They didn't have a TSO in stock of course.
  10. Thanks for the input and confirming that I'm most likely going to go the TSO route. Where did you find your TS for $1500? Seems like they are fairly hard to find in stock and especially at that price.
  11. Hrmm their website says out of stock but I may have to swing by there and take a look if they have one on hand.
  12. Beautiful gun, how do you compare the two? I'm currently debating between a 2011 and a CZ TS (maybe orange). Is one more accurate than the other? Which one is more fun to shoot?
  13. Just another caliber to keep up with and more expensive ammo
  14. Mind sharing the name of your LGS? I may call and see if they still have the 9mm one there by chance. What did you pay for the .40?
  15. Thanks for the feedback. On one hand most my guns are pretty normal duty/carry guns so if I spend 1500+ bucks I kind of want it to be "special"
  16. Thanks guys, I do prefer a SAO trigger. Was originally thinking about getting a STI 1911/2011 9MM but had the chance to check out a CZ TS (non orange) in a local store and was blown away by the trigger, weight and balance. I did not like the wood grips or sights so I think the TSO might be a great gun for me but I've read some great things about how accurate the accu shadow is. For the SP01 does it go, base SP01, Shadow Target, then Accu Shadow from "worst" to best?
  17. This probably isn't the smartest idea but I don't want to buy a gun based on any classing as it's unlikely I'll be doing competition shooting in the near future and I really do not like .40 S&W. Am I correct in saying the TSO is in a higher class (limited) out of the box but the Accu Shadow can still shoot in production? I know very little about classing for USPSA, IDPA, IPSC etc.
  18. I don't currently do any competition shooting but may consider it in the future. For now I'm looking for a super accurate fun 9mm range toy. Which gun would you guys say is more accurate between the SP01 AccuShadow and Tactical Sport Orange? I'd love to hear about any general pros and cons for each gun as well.
  19. Grabagun had one in stock, I got an email. I'm local to them so I thought I'd see if I could handle it before I bought. First of all these clowns don't answer their phone ever. I wasted an hour driving in traffic to go to their retail location. When I got there I was told they keep guns in the warehouse and would not pull one out to let me check it out/buy it. The worker told me to "go to a big box" store to check it out. Screw these guys. So I'm still looking for one in 9.
  20. Thanks a little spendy but I guess they are the only ones that have it in stock.
  21. If you have one in 9MM please PM me. Thanks
  22. Mind sharing where it is and how much if you're not going to buy it? I'm looking for one in 9mm.
