Just shot my TSO yesterday, thing is nuts. 1 hole at 7, super tight groups still at 15, 1-1.5 inch groups offhand twice at 25 yards (could be pure luck).
Shot my 9mm TSO for the first time today and it's an absolute tack driver, I've never shot a gun this accurate and the trigger is a dream. Only hiccup was one live round got jammed in the gun. I fired a shot and the empty ejected but the gun did not go fully back into battery and was locked up. I had to grab the slide and smack the back of the grip pretty hard to dislodge the round. I then reloaded the round back in the mag and loaded it and the gun still didn't quite go into battery so I smacked the back of the slide and it went into battery. I was able to fire the round then ran fine for the rest of the rounds.
Long story short, could it be a round out of tolerance on OAL that the gun didn't like? Was shooting 115 winchester white box factory ammo only. Other 99 rounds were flawless.
By the way my buffer in the recoil assembly didn't have any wear or visible damage at all after 100 rounds.
Ended up ordering a 9mm TSO without ever having seen/shot one. I liked the TS enough so dove in. I'll get an Edge later, maybe in .40 if I want to do comp shooting.
For the 9mm TSO owners out there that don't reload, any issues with factory ammo (WWB, Federal etc)?
Also I've seen some pretty low trigger weights on regular TS, in the 1.5 lbs range, is the TSO around the same or lighter?
Thanks for the input and confirming that I'm most likely going to go the TSO route. Where did you find your TS for $1500? Seems like they are fairly hard to find in stock and especially at that price.
Beautiful gun, how do you compare the two? I'm currently debating between a 2011 and a CZ TS (maybe orange). Is one more accurate than the other? Which one is more fun to shoot?
