  1. Kyle, Thanks for the explanation. Maybe that explains the vague answers. They knew I couldn't understand if they told me plus there is no real answer if things change year to year. Look up at my other post, we got some possible good news! When you live out in West Texas, it's hard to round up enough folks to have big clubs with lots of activity. The 3 clubs in our section are 100 miles apart! MLM
  2. Hey, I have to edit what I have posted below with some good news. I just heard, (rumor only), that we may get a slot!!!! Yahoo. I'm on the list for it, anyway. At least if we get one, it won't get turned back this time! Here is my original post: Your sections get slots? Our section got a slot two years ago & the one guy that asked for it wound up not using it at all. Our section has only 3 little clubs & we didn't even get one slot last year. I have asked politely how much activity or how many shooters we would need to get a slot for our section & uspsa never answered. I asked again & they still didn't answer. Evidently we aren't even close to having enough folks shooting to get even one slot. If they had given me a number, at least I could have tried to reach it. Normally uspsa is very east to deal with but on this issue they have been very vague & not obliging at all. Oh well, there is always the waiting list. MLM
  3. Clay, I would certainly enjoy checking out your improvements on the glock trigger. That was very informative reading even for an ol' fireman/carpenter. I don't suppose you will have that system available to dry-fire at the Dbl Tap match will you? I would really like to check it out. My idea of precision is within 1/16" so I have no idea if I can tell the difference in the feel of a few thousandths. I would like to try, though. Mark Miller
  4. I've had them on my 35 for close to a year, now. I like them a lot. Only problem I've heard about but not experienced is that supposedly gunscrubber(brake cleaner--whatever) makes the fiber brittle. I try to keep from getting any on mine but I haven't had much success at that. Anyway, I take a (water)damp paper towel or napkin & wipe mine down with it when they start getting dirty. I would say for the price, they are excellent! MLM
  5. I shot my 34 for a couple of years in limited & had plenty of fun. I was doing ok, but I wanted to move on up. In other words, I'm not nearly accurate enough to live with minor scoring. It was nice in matches with lots of steel, though. I found the 23rd mags didn't have that big of an advantage over the 20s I have now with my 35. There is the rare occasion but overall, not much of an advantage. I did find that mag springs last a lot longer & of course ammo is lots cheaper. I'm glad I shot the 34 when I did but I'm happy now with the 35. I say try it, then if you decide you need to go to mpf, move up to the 35.
  6. I second the CR speed stuff. Same issues, also. Mine don't move much but I superglued the shims after I started having them move.
  7. This was my second year for the match, first was year before last. Man, this match is fun! I highly recommend it for anyone that likes to shoot high round count stages. Does anyone have the total results? The overalls are posted on their website but not individual scores. I guess they will have them up sometime but I shot on Saturday with the R.O.s & wasn't there Sunday to see the results. If someone has them, I would sure appreciate them posting them or even emailing them to me. Thanks, MLMiller

    Slide Racker

I bought this one off of ebay. It is pretty costly but I decided I'd try it anyway. It replaces the back cover plate on the glock so you can use it on a limited gun without removing your rear sight! The bolt is a snap in that can be snapped in on either side of the slide. I have used it in practice & at one local match & so far it has worked very well! http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Tactical-Quick-Cha...oQQcmdZViewItem If the link doesn't work, just search for ultimate arms & go to their online store. Good luck, mlm
