  1. My Shadow2 was delivered extremely dry from the factory. Been using SLIP2000 EWG or CGW's SS-Lube Moly Grease on the slide as of late and it racks with ease. Still in the break in stage and my Target II is slicker with many more miles.

    Holster for Shadow 2

Good question. I'm not at that level yet so really don't know.

    Holster for Shadow 2

I like those grips as well. I only found them in Canada but the dealer doesn't ship to USA. Have to find a friendly neighbor to place the order and ship to me here in the US. https://www.gotenda.com/shop/accessories/gun-parts/cz-parts/cz75-sp-02-shadow-2-full-size-grips-aluminum-blue/ EDIT: Found them on a euro sight here that includes the bases as a combo. I ordered and waiting for confirmation and shipping charges. http://seboweapons.com/en/grips/86-shadow-2-combo-3.html
  4. Yup, they sure are. You can trust those numbers are good.
  5. Great thread here rowdyb and thanks for documenting the upgrades. I'm very much an amateur shooter but was lucky enough to have a friend/range master at my club get me on a fast track with my first comp gun, a CZ Shadow Target II. Only mods to that platform were palm swells and CGW 10X bushing. LOVE this gun. Just picked up a Shadow2 so very grateful for this info. Last night I measured the delta between the ID of the bushings and OD of the barrels on both guns to compare. The Shadow Target with 10X bushing was .002" and the stock Shadow2 was .005". Pretty darn good for a factory gun IMHO.

Went looking for a holster for my new Shadow2 and found this.. lol.

    Shadow 2 msrp

I see it as a companion to the TS and same price. CZ doesn't have a factory comp gun in DA/SA for production class so this fills a hole, no? Looks like they are after the Stock II/III market. I'm sure there will be a worked $1,600 S2 platform from CZC in the not-to-distant future.
  8. Hi All, Looking to order a few items from Waffen-Oschatz for my CZC Shadow Target and having a bit of a problem connecting with them. I sent an email twice via the link on their site listing the parts and numbers of the desired items asking for total plus shipping so I could settle via PayPal and can't seem to get a response. Anyone ordered from these folks? Thanks!
  9. I'm a newb here and as an outsider, this thread should be rated XXX. Seriously though, I recently purchased a Square Deal B to reload 9mm and this seems pretty easy. Not sure about the other presses but I just release the set screw at the bottom of the hopper's funnel neck, remove the hopper and pour the powder in it's native container, blow out the rest with compressed air and move on.
  10. Shadow Target 2. A much better shooter than I at this point.
  11. No offense intended my friend.
  12. whoops, sorry. Wasn't paying attention to where you live. My response will make no sense to you whatsoever. I was kinda of joking. Tongue in Cheek - Not really meaning what one is saying or writing Murphy's law - As soon as you say or write something, the opposite will happen or Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
  13. More tongue in cheek. You may have just invoked Murphy's law.
  14. uh oh. That's not good
  15. Funny stuff. Glad you're OK and able to laugh it off.
  16. Wow. Wish I stumbled on this earlier. I sure wish you lived close by so we could work together as I'm in the same place. REALLY appreciate the documentation you've invested for us newbs. I'm really struggling with flinch and trigger control after many years of not shooting. I purchased the LaserLyte targets and cartridge for dry fire. You can set them up in reaction time mode where either will light up randomly and you have 5 seconds to hit the lit target. Like you, I start from low ready and dry fire until my hands swell. Also been doing the washer on the front site drill in DA. VERY slow process to get all those neurotransmitters to reset. Again, thanks for sharing your experience and I'm subscribing. Here's the targets that I think will work with you SIRT if you're interested. Cheers, Todd
  17. I'm a newb but this surprised me. Is it because it is considered part of the barrel? Is an aftermarket recoil spring illegal as well? Guide rods are considered internal but can be seen on CZ's. go figure.
  18. Thanks All. I'm a member at Guilford Sportsmens Association. You're welcome to come and shoot as a guest.
  19. I'm an absolute novice now but caught the bug and now a goal to start shooting competitively at a club level to start. Never shot anything other than backyard revolver and rifle up until a few months ago. Joined an awesome club nearby with many talented shooters and sponging up as much as possible. SOOOO much to absorb. I purchased a Shadow Target II and rolling my own as of late on a new Dillon and narrowing down the load that I will move forward with. Lots of great info here and much reading/dry firing/range time now to start my way. Wish I'd done this years ago. Quite humbled amongst the talent here but happy to be a part of it all.
