IIRC. Burris uses a 6-48 screw
-
If keeping the rear sight, CZ / CZC sight would be 5.5mm tall
-
Full size mags, 16, 17, 18 mags will fit fine

So polycoat models could be inferior in quality?
No
-
All the other oranges are polycoated
TS Orange and SP01 Shadow Orange
-
Sku was removed beginning 2018
from what we saw only about 50
brought in US in March-April 2017
-
-
No casting blemishes on nitrite only models. Polycoat will cover the blemishes.
So nitrite only models fewer.
Shouldnt be a factor in decision as none have been around for about 18 months
-
The nitrite only guns they couldn’t produce the quality they wanted, and demand for the blue grips was high, so made the polycoat version come with blue grips.
Pricing should be same for the polycoat
models. The nitrite only versions were a little more, but that was due to finish, not the grips.
but not really very many around. Really none since like mid 2017

That’s lighter than I expected. Isn’t the stock shadow 2 that same weight without an optic.
production list has S2 with 17rnd mag at 47

I take it you will be able to buy the slide separately?
CZ rarely makes frames and uppers available on there own.
most all goes to actual production

CZC offers a couple of options to try and help out
1. RDS plate cut for Shadow 2. this is the plate cut , which offers the flexibility to change plates if you change dots and the necessary lightening for Carry Optics.
2. Direct milling of the optic to the slide. Slide is cut specific to the dot.
3. sight base for rear sght dovetail . Multioptic plate for the dovetail.

oh..just noticed the slide said 40SW.
that answers a lot of the initial questions.

thats a tumbler style safety.
you can use this one
https://czcustom.com/cz-75-sa-safety-thumbler-lhs.html
or if you wanted to go to a wider D style , you will need a new ejector housing, LHS and RHS safeties.
-
looks like standard 75B non-ambi
-
heavier looking slide. what material is the plate? thanks
-
Not the easy way. but had some safeties welded up by Jim Milks at Innovative Custom Pistols.

Now I'm totally confused! My 75B has ambi safeties. Don't recall if it has a D- end not the right side. I think I'll call the various CZ experts
what model 75B.
75B stainless models are tumbler
75B SA 9mm and 40SW, is tumbler
75B compact with ambi are D style
SP01 and SP01 Shadow are D-style
