Stuart, do you know if vz is going to do a diamondback version of grips for the A01 series ?

    I don’t.

VZ and LOK both have the pattern for the A01

    AO1 SD

I find the balance of the SD to be a bit more to my liking.

the balance is more in my hands than the sensation of hanging out at the end of the gun

I dont  have a lot of rounds through them. but do handle and dryfire one almost every day. also pick up the LD quite frequently and have shot one of those quite a bit.

The SD does have the fat Ghost Competition hammer installed. extended firing pin and lighter springs.

The SD is available direct from CZ Custom.

CZ 75 mags run flawlessly in the A01-LD.

We found some mags will work.

There are grips in design to work with the smaller dimension magazines.

Has anyone checked to see if the A01 with the base pads on the mags fits in the Production box?

it fits the USPSA box pretty easily

I had local Colorado gunsmith Steve Pitt do the slide lightening. I let him do whatever he wanted with the weight reduction. I told him "I need 1.5oz removed from the slide and don't care what it looks like after its done". He worked his magic and what you see is how it ended up.

    Looks good!

I am just getting into CZs I heard the AO1 was production legal, but did not find it on the list.

    Is it approved?

So I've got one now.  Not fired it  yet.  The single action is extremely crisp, pretty much no hammer camming on break.  The double is smooth, with the exception of a small hitch about 3/4 of the way back.  I've run into this before, and I think I can fix it, but I'm a little anxious about disassembly, as I understand the sear cage is pinned direct to the frame.  Anyone had one apart yet?  I ordered a 11 lb hammer and extended firing pin from Cajun, and going to install that to see how it feels.  Will shoot soon.  It's very well made, that's for sure!

Just bustin on you , why wouldnt you buy the spring and firing pin from CZC
