Hi Rob, quick off topic question. I’m on the fence with similar question and I do like SP01 frame more then S2 . Who sells it for $880? All I can find is CZ custom shop for $1050.
    Thanks in advance

yes . some genius in cz tried to improve regular ts (tso dust cover and tso sight ) , but after they made this new models they "discovered"  that its  almost same model as tso only without thumb rest and frame cut for it. i think that they made better model than tso.😀at 1k price. with few minor changes. and lower price.😉

If I recall that came in at about same cost as TSO.

It’s the disco. It is not allowing the trigger to fully reset in DA. The cure is to remove a little material from the back side of the “leg”. There are photos and descriptions either at the beginning of this thread or search “pre-b disco” threads.

    this

also looks like you have there reach reduction kit installed. so trigger is not coming forward enough for the disconnector or if that is limited out, then the disconnector needs some adjustment. if RRK kit, then back out the top screw to allow the trigger to move forward.

I’m not saying to change it, but also be aware you’re running the heaviest dot by a good margin.

    1.95oz for the DPP.

    1.1oz for the RTS2.

I run the DPP - but my gun is polymer, so I can’t get it heavy enough. ;)

DPP is heaviest dot of the current popular ones. The CZC cut is base on DPP dot , CZC ext. pad and no other changes coming in at 44.8

Have no knowledge of other manufactures pads or grips. There are options for lighter grips, guide rods, other strategies to lose weight.

Consideration for how you cut, where you cut for longevity of the slide .

if building from the ground up with whole pistol, weight can be verified.

It will probably help to stick to plated bullets or these FMJs if you want to load long in a short-chambered gun. They’re .355 - instead of .356 like most coated bullets - so the thinner diameter doesn’t interfere as far back in the chamber.

Additionally, many of the FMJ profiles are pointier than their coated counterparts, so the shoulder (ogive) of the bullet is pretty far back. This is also helpful.

(A great example of this is winchester white box. It’s around 1.160” long but chambers in any CZ because the 115gr bullet is extremely long and pointy and the ogive is almost back inside the brass.)

Don’t discount 124s, either. I prefer the feel of a 135PF 124 to an equivalent 147 in a heavy metal gun like the S2 or a Tanfo, and I know several Ms and GMs who agree. The gun doesn’t feel sluggish - and those bullets can often be loaded longer IF you select the correct profile.

Buy some small batches of both weights, and see what you think. THEN place your bulk order.

great info. keeping this to refer this knowledge, Thanks MM

  6. What you have to be aware of.

    p09 lower side cut out.

p10c with ambi mag catch- center notch

p10 F, P10 c, P10S with reversible mag catch- has second notch on side.

unless you know what looking for. Just go for the P10 listings

21 rounds. That’s it. I thought you could get 23

need the 10 coil/flat follower to get the 23 number. but I have not played with the combo in the P09/P10  magazine.

So the stock mag spring and follower work with the 140mm base pads? Are they reliable? How many rounds do you get?

    Thanks Stuart

so far been running good, been getting 21 rounds into the mag.

What spring and follower are you using

I am just running the factory follower and spring right now.

might try something in the future, but this is just kind of playing around to see what the P10 is like.

More focused on running a 75 Bull Shadow in CO right now.

Yes it is since the slide is the same shape and dimension as the CTS Longslide.

That is what this setup is, a Shadow Tac 2 with a longer slide. ;)

also consider Bull Barrel upper. :)
