  1. Nemo: I set up all my stages for 6 round groups. Some stages are limited so you will have no disatvantage over the 8 shooters. I do have a few steel stages but no more than 5 plates in any one array so you can miss one and still be in the game. I also have at least one stage where the X ring is -1 second so make sure you are sighted in. Some targets are 5 feet some are 35 yards. Not a lot of running and a good time. Once all the guns are put away we can crack open a beer and tell lies about how good we did. Hope to see you there. You too Cliff
  2. I asked my gunsmith to put a Ti cylinder in my 625 PC. He told me that the Ti cylinders are from the 325 and will fit in the standard 625 but not in the 625 PC (without a lot of extra work and expense)
  3. Hi All Central Florida revo shooters. I am going to start having a monthly ICORE match at Road Ends range in Davenport <http://www.roadendsrange.com/>. The first one is this Saturday. There will be 5 stages with a 136 minimum round count. We are going to add another class not sanctioned by ICORE for those of you that don’t have a revolver YET. It will be the Bottom Feeder class. It will allow semi-autos that fit in the USPSA Limited class BUT you must reload after every 6 shots or get a penalty of 10 seconds per reload. Learn to count like a revolver shooter. Mark your calendars. Come on out when you can. For more info-boblhunt@bellsouth.net
  4. Congrats to all the winners. I was one of the embedded ROs and here are my afterthoughts. As the day went on my shooting went downhill. It may not have had anything to do with being RO but I was very tired Saturday night. I do prefer to shoot with all the ROs the day before and run one stage the entire match, but from a match directors point of view it means an extra match day. It is hard enough just putting together a local 5 stage match. Even though I shot bad, I still had a good time. My squad showed respect for my job and everyone stuck to the rules and made my job a little easier. I will probably volunteer next year because I like to do my part of giving back to the sport. Y'all will just have to listen to me wine again after the match. Ray. Thanks again for putting on a great match and treating the ROs well and especially for having stages that were not revolver unfriendly
  5. Nemo. Congrats on the HOA in revolver. I have a whole list of great excuses why I didn't win, but I have to use the one that says "I need to hit the target in order score points" BTW. Can I exchange score sheets with one of the young Nemos next time. Those guys are good. Great to meet you. See at another match soon.
  6. Hi Nemo: I think I am on squad 5 as the RO. ROs shoot with the squad this time. Hope to see you there. Look for the 625 on my hip and moon clips under the belly
  7. I'm still in for 2. Thanks for all the effort you ae putting into this for us.
  8. Hi All: Stay safe and have a great time. I ROed and shot last year. Best match I have ever been to. My soon to be wife just had a major surgury so I can't go this year. I'm sure Nelson will make this year even better. Be nice to Mr. Richards; under that hat is a nice guy.
  9. OK. We tried but it didn't come together for us this time. We will try again next year. FL Wheeler
  10. I use them in my 627 with Colt Short brass. Fast reloads, more acurate than Ranier plated.
  11. I hope to be there. I may have a work schedule conflict. I will know next week.
  12. Hi All: The East Orange Revolver Society is attempting to put on this match. We are based in Orlando but have not had good luck working with our local ranges for this event. We have talked with some of the powers at the Jacksonville range and it looks like it will be held there. We would like some input on dates in the April/May timeframe. Vic Pickett is putting an ad in Front Sight with all the ICORE matches and this one will be in there with date TBD. As always, we can use help with this (Hi Cliff). Send us input and get your bottom feeder buddys to dust off their wheel guns. Bob
  13. Hey Headshot45 I think I did that last year in Orlando. Not so dumb when you don't know when your food will run out. I owned a 625 that did not like me. I sold it because it had too many mikes in it. I bougth a 686-6" that shoots much better but making major is a challange. I will probably be in the yes column on this new one.
  14. Hey Cliff: Congrats on the master class and goood luck at the nationals. Are those little short bullets legal in USPSA?java script:emoticon('%3C_%3C') Bob H (Orlando)
  15. 40 Brass, 40 OAL, Frame Mounted, Just flattened not pushed out.
  16. I used 180 Ranier, 4.7 Titegroup, aveage 976 fps for a 175 PF. 4" 610. I had to go with winchester primers because the Federals were flattening out from the pressure
