Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Merlin not sure but I have only had time to do 500 using straight nufinish they are nice and shinny and smooth. I then used my single stage press and deprimed and resize with no lube runs smooth as silk. Using a carbide die. My main concern was when I added straight nufinish it clumped up wasn't sure if this was a big deal or not thought maybe mineral spirits would thin it and mix better, I am still in the learning process I ordered a 50lb bag of 20/40 corncob this is really fine maybe should of went to the next course grade up will wait and see. Oh and the cost was only $18.00 but the shipping matched that. Thanks everyone for the help and I sure more duh questions to come.
  2. Well I am back for some more stupid questions. I read where some use it straight and some mix it 50/50 with mineral spirits. I just bought a bottle to try no mineral spirits handy so I tried it straight. Not sure how much to use so I tried three caps full, tumble for about 15 mins. seemed to want to clump so I went ahead and added 500 piece of brass looks good and shinny. How much do you all add to a tumbler and would it be better to mix mineral spirits. The tumbler is advertised as holding 1000 9mm. I first bought the walnut lizard litter form the pet store works good as a cleaner. I found a place to buy 50 lb bags of corncob so what to use it to polish with. Darn shipping cost more the the bag of media. Thanks Howie
  3. UMMMM media separator also maybe? May try that as soon as I get my girlfriend to go to wally world, small town here someone would tell I was buying ladies stuff
  4. I think their taking about the new case feeder for the rl550b from Dillon. Cant seem to find the darn link where everyone is talking about using them and setting them up if I find will follow up with it. Think I found it http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...pic=32029&h
  5. OK I have looked every where but cant find where to purchase a lee "u" undersize die. I am setting my dillon press to load 9 mm. Can anyone tell me where I can find them. I did find EGW undersize so maybe go with their's.
  6. Well its me again still digging and learning will digging anyway. I have several pounds of 3N37 on hand and would like to use it with the 147Gr precision delta bullets I got. I done a search lots of loads for vv but none for the 3N37 that I could find. Minor load is fine plan on shooting single stack and steel. I have a SA with 5 in barrel thanks again Howie
  7. I want to thank all of you that replied this is a great learning and helpful site even if you are 60 years old Thanks Rob I called today and Patricia today and she let me order a smaller amount to try .
  8. After reading several threads here I would like to try the 147gr. bullets in my 9 mm single stack. Is there any place I can purchase less than 2k from their web site, lot of bullets to use for paper weights just in case I find a better setup. I am using 9 mm zero bullets in my 38 open gun but didn't think I needed the jhp in the single stack and the Deltas are cheaper. Thanks I am learned a lot using this forum.
  9. I hope this hasn't been beaten to death but I did a search with no results can anyone give me a good source of once fired brass I use only new in my open gun but would like some 9 mm to practice with. Thanks in advance
  10. there is a topic on this subject on the reloading forum 9MM/38, I use .355 9 MM in my 38 super open gun
  11. I have used midway for several orders great to work with. You might also try Graf & Sons they are also good to work with. Both out located here in Missouri sort of handy for me.
  12. I use Zero 9 mm bullets in my 38 super shoots great, but it has less than 5k rounds, I may have to move to the .356 if I start to lose my accuracies but this should be severals thousand more rounds I hope.
  13. rozedist.com is the online dealer for zero bullets.
  14. Zero makes a 9mm 125 gr jhp which was recommended to me because of the jhp don't have the lead exposed at the base. I believe Roze distribution handles them for zero.
  15. Must of bought my MK IV to soon or I don't know what a usb port looks like no ports on it. Has anyone messed with the printer output is it irda compatible cant seem to find any info on it just curious as most laptops have infrared inputs. thanks for any help
