Main focus right now are rifle matches 300-1000 yds. We do have some informal IDPA matches. Maybe I should think smaller for now and see how much interest we get before suggesting 3 gun. The Outlaw sounds cool. Just hate not having anything around here to shoot. I am in Nothern, DE about 20 mins from Philadelphia.

I am trying to get my club to start 3-gun tournaments. The idea is getting run by the Board at the next meeting to see if it is something they want to move forward with. My question is, is there a source that goes into detail of how to get it up and running? I would most likely have to assemble a team and need basics on how many people it takes for set-up, judges, etc. Just entry level stuff that I can present to the club. Any help is appreciated. I have read some things on 3gunnation's website already. Just looking for a lot of info I can sift through to gain more knowledge on the subject. I'm sure if it happens, the first year will be a learning curve on the ins/outs but hoping we can get it done. There is nothing for 3-gun within 1.5 hours of here that I can find.

I almost have the same exact setup except for I use a tumbler w/ dry media and no Mr Bulletfeeder...yet. How do you like it so far with 223? -
Blue Christmas

between my wife, in-laws and myself, I got a case feeder for my 2nd xl650, Dillon swager, and an RT-1500 trimmer -
I was installing my new trimmer last night and the 13/16" jam nut that comes with it would not thread onto the trim die upper threads. The trimmer itself threads on fine so I am thinking it is the jam nut that is out of spec. I am waiting on a reply from customer service but did not know if anyone knows if you can buy these things at Lowes or HD.

anyone running a 16# spring on XDm 5.25 45acp?
goldeneagle76 replied to goldeneagle76's topic in Gun Springs
you know what, great question. Considering it did not happen on every mag I might have. I will have to pay closer attention to my grip next outing. -
I loaded up some 230gr LRN with 5.0 gr Win231 and the stock 18# spring shot all with no failures but slide would not lock open after the last shot on some mags. Wondering if I should go to a 16 and try it out. The load shot amazingly well so don't really want to change that.

Have to go try to get in as a walk-on for my first USPSA this weekend (I'm 38). Nervous as h#ll. Funny how no matter how many years you have been shooting and how familiar you are with your guns...you can still get these nerves.

Dillon powder check system...
goldeneagle76 replied to goldeneagle76's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
that is what I had before when I had my Hornady LNL AP...it was ok. Does not work on rifle though which is why I want the Dillon -
I would never buy a LNL AP again, had it for years and was constantly messing with it. Even after watching the Bill Morgan videos on youtube it was a pain

I see a good bit of people that say they don't like it... have read polls about why you don't need it. Why do you rarely ever see used Dillon powder check systems for sale? Just curious. I look for them every day on different sites and don't find them.

Now, if we get a masturbating money to work the press...does the cyclic loading production rate increase or decrease?
-
1.) load rate to me is once machine is ready to run the 1st case until an hour passes. I don't count preloading everything. 1a.) you are loaded when the beep of the over-loaded sensor goes off, not before. You must keep drinking until it goes off

Nope, was still listed when I told him I would buy it. He replied saying it was just sold. Wish I saw it yesterday! Was exactly what I was looking for. -

looks too good to me...I sent him a message -
I just got diagnosed with tennis elbow on my handle arm...will a doctor write a prescription for a motor and a bullet feeder? Does insurance cover it?

More than one xl650?
goldeneagle76 replied to goldeneagle76's topic in Dillon Precision Reloading Equipment
And do you other guys still keep a single stage around too? I have 3 single stages I had been using for rifle rounds but want to do my bulk 223 and 308 on an xl650 now. But for my long range 308 loads wondering if I should still keep a single stage around. -

If I had not just sold a gun that I never used for $600 I wouldn't even think of it. But when I started pricing things the seperate press for small primers just started making sense to me.
