  1. Nope, her name is Bob. (and I don't give names to vehicles)
  2. And it's protected by my vicious guard dog
  3. I have a shop for my various interests (I'm retired so I don't have a job interfering with my interests )
  4. The only difference between Limited and Open is that in Open you can use a compensator, optic, and 170mm magazines (28 rds in 9mm) if you wish. Other than what I've mentioned, you're allowed to do more with mag and holster placement. Production classes (and IDPA ESP) limit you to 10 rounds in the mag but you can use up to a 140mm mag in Limited. Power factor is the shooter's choice.
  5. Here's my handloading corner in my shop. I'm retired so have lots of "free" time. (It's also my dry fire area, I call this stage, "Intruders in the Dillon area" )
  6. I have a KKM in my 5" M&P, much as I would like to say it made a great improvement in my accuracy (to justify the cost), unfortunately I didn't notice any difference other than it was shiny.
  7. My ophthalmologist is a shooter, when I started having problems with seeing the front sight he made a pair of glasses that left the left (non dominant) eye prescription (progressive trifocal) in it's normal configuration but changed my right eye to close and middle distance progressive. This worked very well with iron sights, then I changed to Open and had to go back to my normal glasses when using the dot. I find that optics are the best answer to aging eyes. (haven't found a cure for aging joints though)
  8. I just sanded off the sharp edges on the lower part of the followers. It helps the legs of the followers get past the junction of the mag and the extended base.
