I only use Energizers in my dots. I have problems with Duracell.
Well there goes that theory

Im going with baby hands. Or you hold the gun sideways. Which I guess you could argue that is the proper way to grip a gun...

I can’t seem to get the Brazos Bullet’s to drop into cases from my mr Bullet feeder consistently. I had to really open up the expansion/bell to get a bullet to not topple off. I never really had this problem with acme or blues but the 124 profile of the Brazos has been a little finicky for my setup. Anyone else have this issue? I have to play with the bell to find the sweet spot. I’m thinking I might have too much at this point to try and overcome the toppling and just making it worse.

you could buy mine

is that a thing out running the case feeder? I am limited to 1800 rounds per hour but have never ran faster than the case feeder couldnt keep up with. at the higher speeds like 2500-3000 rph does the dillon not keep up?

i think we all know what it is. Anyone experience it with Clean shot is the question.

only thing i like over a vortex dot is the glass size is about same as rts2. Vortex glass is smaller on all of their dots.

I almost sent my DAA back after a week of very little dryfire. They work loose at the dovetail and you have to take the whole mag pouch apart to get to the screw. I havent tried loctiting them in place yet. Racer mag pouches held up great for me but i wanted the adjustability of the racemaster/alpha x. the design of the alpha x sounds great in a sales pitch but havent held up in the field for me at least.

I have one. I listed it for sale but decided to keep it due to no interest and will throw it on an Ar or keep as an oddball lower cost backup.
I havent shot anything with it mounted but is seems like a decent dot. The dot is crisp but honestly, it is not very bright. Not as bright as my Holosun Hs510 which is why i put it on the chopping block. I cant comment on how well it would hold up on an open gun.

I buy nickel 9mm cases cheap in bulk and shoot and and leave it most of the time. Except practice because that is just laziness and someone has to clean up after me. Cases split very frequent and shooting major I don’t load it more than once. It is slick which I would think helps feed and it’s pretty, and regularly available relatively cheap so I keep buying it. If it wasn’t all same headstamp I wouldn’t buy nickel because of how frequent I find cracked cases even after once fired.

I would agree with that. The dot from my C-More stays on target the entire time. First shot is typically an “A”, second one 50% of the time it’s a “C”.
the distance of your target Should play a huge roll in your "double tap" speed.
Double tapping is fine if youre aware of where your dot is on the target when you fire the shot. if youre confirming your hit by looking at your hits on target after the fact, youre going to be shooting lots of mike in a match.

My understanding for those that have done silicon carbide on the X5 frame, is that they use a dremel first to take material away before adding the epoxy / silicon carbide. If this new grip is laced with tungsten, isn't there the risk of dremeling away plastic and tungsten through this process? I haven't seen anyone simply lay epoxy and then silicon carbide over a x5 grip without dremeling material away first.
I epoxied right over an undremeled grip on my x5. Worked fine. I’ve also done the same to a few 2011 plastic grips which also came out good. Actually came out better on the 2011 grips but the x5 didn’t come out bad without roughing it up at all.

$1200
but you sound like a nice guy so I’ll give you 1250$

open minor will never be a thing.

I did the same thing to my x5 and took it down with a dremel tool.
I think it is a hand size thing. My 2011's dig into my hand there too and I always try to round off the edges of the grip safety and thumb safety.

I really hope they sell the grip module separate.
Although at $930 msrp, id buy the whole thing if availability and timeframe was the issue.

Mine with a gray guns trigger feels as good as any striker fired gun I’ve felt. A buddy of mine dropped a gray guns trigger in his after trying mine, and on a trigger gauge his was pulling 2 lbs. I don’t know how much better you could get a striker gun.

im pretty sure that has been disproven.

Limcat mount is the way to go. Puts the dot far enough forward I havent had a ding yet. The mount is as large as the body of the dot and the blast shield does wonders. My gun is a shorty with holes in the barrel and my glass stays clean. Very well made mount super sturdy and puts the dot nice and low. If a two sided is prefered i have a nice brand new mount listed on here from Tevo

Brazos being the cheapest by a fair margin is IMO worth mentioning again. I am a big fan of acme. But will order again with Brazos because of the price point.

Any division will get you back into the loop of shooting uspsa. Carry ops is nothing like open. You’ll be shooting with a dot but is totally different than open division. Buy whatever you think you’ll have fun with.

Funny how all of the magwell and steel grip manufacturers are coming out with ways to overcome the metal grip situation of mags getting stuck.
I remember getting flamed a year or two ago by people in this same topic on Facebook for saying the only way around mag sticking is to dremel your grip. Even Phoenix Trinity’s Tiffany hopped in on the trashing. Now they have a proprietary magwell to overcome the “problem” that didn’t exist?
