Was a joke, talking about the slide moving as it cycles. There is absolutely zero play in the slide. This is one of the tightest guns I own.

Yeah, the top part of mine slides back and forth when I shoot it, does anybody else's do that?

Ran about 400 rounds through my Limited 9mm today, 115 and 124 from Freedom Munitions. I had not one single malfunction. This gun is so flat and soft it is like cheating, the trigger is light and short, I just wish it had a little "crisper" break. All in all, I am extremely happy with my first 2011!

Looks like a DVC in black without a coated barrel or grip reduction... Where did that come from?

Hoping that since mine was ordered at SHOT I will have it in hand by the end of the week. My FFL was told it was the 12th DVC ordered. What I dont know, is this batch all limited, what caliber? Mix of open and limited? Are Brazos/dawson going to get preferential treatment? Still very excited because this is the closest yet...

Go woth the Hayes gun, you will spend the initial difference in price changing out the little things on the STI. Aaron is one hell of a builder, I dont own one of his 2011s but he did my M2 for me and I have shot a few local matches with him and if it wasnt for dealer pricing on my DVC he would be building my 2011 right now.
