Anyone done it? Do u ship to the hotel? The venue? Any tips or issues?

Looking for any info from folks that have recently traveled with the over the limit 62" total length and if they were charged oversixed fees? Flying to my first match, FNH, through United and oversized fees are $200 each way, more than my round trip ticket!

For sure and most disciplines I have prob not ever shot an actual match, but would like this not to be the first time. -
Yeah figured that much, looking for more info though. Wondering if I should brush up on something more specific, like Bianchi slider, go shoot an F class match, etc. Im signed up and cant wait.

Thanks guys. I agree, shotgun loading needs to take a step up. Should get better going from that 1100 to my new Versa Max done by Triangle. Yes! I should have brought my knee up for elbow brace, thanks, have watched this a lot and still not picked that up. Thanks again guys.

I'll get some pics up soon. It looks great, the puke green is growing on me. Have not had a chance to shoot yet but got some reload practice in tonight. With my 1100 I was barely sub-8 seconds for a dependable load 8 using load-two method. I got a few 4.9 -5.0 second load 8 tonight, 5.5-6 all day. If you get some momentum just right, you can almost throw the shells in. I am very pleased with the work from Triangle, cant wait to get some real practice time and shooting in.

All signed up. Watching youtube vids from last year, should be a blast. Only haven't really shot about 10/12 "shooting sports".... practice should get fun the next few months. -

How many of you all shoot a 1x with both eyes open? Is this a skill worth ingraining? I shoot with a vortex 1-6 and tend to go back and forth, just wondering what the consensus is.

Hey guys, I just got a quick GoPro vid of my last match up on Youtube. I was wondering if any seasoned guys on here would dish out some advice on what I can do to improve? Go slow and shoot your own match, focus on being safe 1st and avoid being dq'd. First impressions are hard to shake.

Hey guys, finally pulled the trigger and have a Versa Max Competition Tactical on it's way straight to the gunsmith for fine tuning. I run an OLD 1100, so anything is going to be an upgrade. Ive read all the threads but was wondering from those with reg tacticals or the competition model, what do you recommend getting done? What would you not get done? My thoughts are: open up port more cut down handguard weld lifter bend shell latch Im not for lightening the bolt. But was wondering if there is anything Im missing? Trigger job or otherwise?

Saw that, I was referring to the gun itself. Trying to see if Im going to keep waiting or just pick up a regular tactical and mod it. The old 1100 is on it's last leg.
