  1. Then you end up with boring , box to box stages, that are not fun or challenging...
  2. This thread is a good read... I can come at this from both sides of the coin... As a shooter, who regularly drives 2-3 hours to shoot a match.. Do I want to spend even an extra min setting up or tearing down? Hell no. After 50 dollars in gas , match fees and ammo costs, Im ready to spend 2 or 3 hours driving home to arrive at a decent hour ... So I can sympathize with people who have reasons for not wanting to help.. On the flip size, at a local match, I dont mind helping set up, tear down, RO, score, etc... I help run a local club , and we spend many hours before anyone else arrives starting set up, and many hours after the match tearing down, dealing with cash, scores, website , so having help is really nice... SO I guess it depends on what the situation is... Not every single person , at every match can help tear down, set up, etc.. But for the most part, we do need more helpers
  3. I know of one of those too! I've recently had the same problem, an affiliated club with an MD that only sets up basic stages, and will change a stage halfway thru a match. Like was mentioned earlier, bringing up the issues only gets you ran out. At least everybody knows what to expect. I even tried the show up early and set up a stage, only too have it dumbed down, because it was 'too complicated'. I guess disappearing ports that made you think and move where too much Teehee , I think I shot one of those matches... or three..
  4. I like shooting Limited Minor... faster split times plus what everyone else was saying...softer to shoot and cheaper..
  5. I read this post a few days ago.. I really like it... So true... Im stuck in the pit of B Class.... even though I regularly beat A class and M Class shooters... I feel like im easily Mid A class... but currently stuck at 72% in B Class... Its frusterating... If I slow down a bit , I end up with mid to high 60% classifiers... OR , I can play Hero or Zero trying to get those low to mid 80% classifiers... But the worst part is If i make a mistake and post a 58% , it counts against me, and is hard to recover from... Im not sure what my point is... maybe B class is spread to far ? Im just trying to make A Class so I can not worry about classifications so much... But being stuck in B class is not acceptable... Hard to get out of.. %
  6. I use my strong hand middle finger on my Glock 35..
