Brian, thats a great idea! How important is the draw?

Brian, over the years Iam sure you must have seen your share of shooters who get nervous on the line. Barnhart is one that I saw at the Steel Challenge, behind a trailer talking to himself and fighting off the nerves. You dont seem to let that affect you. Your fortunate in that way. What advice could you share with the reader of this forum for new shooters starting out in the game?

Could it be that the tide is turning? Open Nationals Barnhart with iron sight! Some guys shoot great with Limited wide body iron-sight guns. Better than some scope-gun shooters. Why not an Open-gun with iron sights? Front sight in front of the comp, long sight raduis. And take advantage of all that is offer in a comp-gun minus the optic. It will be interesting to see what Barnhart will do if he doesn't get a sponsorship this year from a scope maker. What do you think Brian? Who better than anyone on this forum would know what and how sponsor shooters at Barnhart level would do in a case like this? What if Barnhart did really well with an iron-sighted open-gun. I know myself that optics give a higher level of enjoyment to the shooting process but I would really like the hassle free and cost savings from not having one. Any thoughts??
