  1. The 16" as well balanced as they say it is with the core profile? After reading and doing a lot of research, I am really never going to get anything shorter then a 13.9 inch barrel. 10.5 and 11.5 are nice, but for an all around rifle 13.9 or longer seems to be the way.
  2. Hello, Just wondering if anyone here has had a good amount of time behind the Type B? How is it holding up? Still like it? Thanks, Adam.
  3. My rifle likes 62 to 64 grain rounds. So I run 62gr FMJ on bay stages and anything out to 200 yards. After that i will use 62 or 64 grain match stuff. Barrel just worked out that way which is nice.
  4. Just wondering if one barrel contour (criterion Core or hybrid) has an edge in the accuracy department over the other? Thanks, Adam
  5. Definitely not off topic. Thank you very much for the info. It was the Purebred 13.7 I assume?
  6. Also to throw a wrench. Just found a criterion hybrid 13.9 in stock.
  7. So the Rosco is good. In your opinion, better then the ballistic Advantage?
  8. Also, I would also thinking about the Criterion Core but good luck getting one.
  9. I was hearing rumors about less then stellar accuracy from Triarc. I figured I would ask on here as well because we tend to run or guns harder then the weekend warrior making a post.
  10. Looking at these two companies for my next rifle build. Going to be putting a 1-6 on top, so looking for accuracy. Also will be having a dead air flash hider for my Sandman S. Mostly be shooting 62 and 77 grain stuff. So, if you have handled and shot both. Did one handle better and which one in your opinion has a better accuracy potential? Thanks
  11. Wasn't making up a rule book. I emailed an AC and that was the response.
  12. Never really had a problem. But do to ammo prices I have switched mostly to IDPA for the lower round count. I save my high round count matches for 3 gun.
  13. Well I guess the Staccato P is legal for ESP in Florida. Seems like HQ needs to step in because different states now have different ruings.
  14. I mean the help is just too much. I appreciate it all.
  15. You guys have been a great help. Thanks.
  16. No. I just got an email back that said the staccato P is legal for ESP. That is it. I also printed that out to take to matches around Florida.......lol.
  17. My Area Coordinator says the Staccato P is legal for ESP.
  18. Nope, this post isn't causing any offense. I asked a question about barrels. was hoping to get an opinion on which one of the 3 is generally more accurate. I get there are variables but there are also barrel companies and lengths that are accurate over a wide range of rounds. So, I get answers like isn't possibly and all three websites says there are the best. Sooooo, not getting the question answered so no reason to keep it open, simple.
  19. Mod, please just delete this thread........
  20. So I emailed IDPA HQ. I stated two different coordinators give two different opinions about the Staccato P. They emailed back stating they are sending the question to my coordinator because they know the rules better.............wellllll thanks HQ that didn't help.
  21. Two different state coordinators were emails, 1 said it was legal, the other said no. I guess I have to email HQ.
  22. That is exactly what I am asking people to give their opinion on...................................
  23. I get that, I should have said, in general, which one of these uppers are usually more accurate..............................................................
