  1. That is why I am asking the question. To see if there is any speed boost that others have seen.
  2. I have been running a 17 and 19 for years. I have won Area 6 3 gun limited division twice shooting the 17. Without going into the STIs and 3000 dollar guns I was just wondering if the X5 would give me an advantage and minor speed boost over the Glock. Thank you all who have responded so far. Adam
  3. I realize that and have state titles shooting the Glock. Just wondering if I can get a better arrow as well.

    X5 vs Glock 34

Alright, I have been running Glocks most my life but feel I need something else to push the speed even more. I am looking for something other then dropping 3000 on a STI type gun. The X5 seems to fit good in the hand and have shot the X Compact. How does the X5 compare to the Glock 34 as far as recoil, accuracy, etc. Thanks, Adam
  5. I have been shooting Glocks for years and years but looking to possibly move to another platform. It would be used 3 gun, USPSA and possibly IDPA. I like 2011s but don't feel like dropping 2000 for a handgun. What else is out there. I have been looking at Sig X5 but what else. Thanks, Adam
  6. Try Down Range ammo. They have a 75gr hollow point load that I get 1/2 MOA at 100 yards out of my Citerion Barrel.
  7. Went to the gun store and grabbed the 75 and 92. Trigger reach is a lot shorter with the Beretta than the CZ.
  8. I have never had a jam with it all all. Feels like a .22 and shoots MOA with PMC. Won limited division in Area 6 three gun championship last year with it.
  9. I run a Criterion 16" barrel with a rifle length gas system. I have an SLR adjustable gas bock, JP Low Mass bolt and Armalite comp, thing doesn't move and shoots MOA with PMC Bronze.
  10. For those of you shooting VP9s I hope you saw that HK is releasing a long slide kit you can buy from the web store. 5 inch barrel with adjustable rear sight and fiber optic front sight. Check it out.
  11. I have shot a Beretta and a CZ. When I got the thin grips on the Beretta the gun actually felt nice and the trigger reach was MUCH shorter than on a CZ. The reason I don't shoot a CZ is because of the trigger reach being so freaking LONG!
  12. Who makes a carry holster for the STI 2011 Tactical 4.15? Thanks.

    VP9 B!!!

Definately a game changer for those who didn’t like the paddle release.
  14. Anyone get one yet with the trigger job?
  15. Just something to think about that I have pondered. Is a 14.8 barrel with rifle length any better then a 16 inch which we know can be reliable. Now a 13.7 or shorter I under is a savings. But 1.2 inches where reliability could be suspect isn't worth it to me. Just food for thought.
  16. Armalite adjustable break. Best brake i have ever shot.
  17. Criterion Barrel with rifle length is what I am running on my current setup. Very soft shooting and is MOA accurate at 3 and 4 hundred yards.
  18. I will check sportsman's guide. That is the problem with slugs that aren't deer, finding then to buy them.
  19. Shot my third match using my Dissident and wondering what slugs work great. The ones I had were for my Breda and didn't have enough power with the 20 round mag loaded up. Thanks for the help.
  20. I just went the gold standard Nordic tube. I also got the TTI loading gate for the Benelli because I keep getting a cut while quad loading. That was just me and others didn't have a problem with the Breda OEM loading gate. As i said above the only modification I did was rounding the edges of the loading port but that was a personal preference.
  21. Full disclosure I am on Team Breda. I have been using the B12i for over a year now and love it. You can use any Benelli M2 part except the charging handle. Shot slugs extremely accurate. The loading port is opened up nicely from the factory and the only thing I did was round the edges a little more. Comes with 5 chokes. I run estate 1140s and never had a jam. All in all it is a great shotgun for the price you pay. If you have any specific questions about it let me know.
  22. I run Winchester AA 1250 and have never had a problem with my Dissident Arms
  23. Ok, I have been sitting back eating popcorn and reading all the posts and have to comments: 1. As to the major/minor argument. USPSA is a game and it has certain rules. Just like baseball and hockey. We can lobby for rule changes but it is what it is. 2. All this discussion about ammo performance. Why yes there is ways to scientifically tests different rounds that only goes so far. My job puts me in a position to see many people who have been shot and actually been in shootings. What I have learned from 13 years is shot placement is the key. Just had a bad-guy get shot by the good guys 4 times with Speer Gold Dot 200gr +P .45. Twice in the gut, once in the shoulder and once in the elbow and the bad guy lived. I have also had a bad guy drop dead with one Speer 9mm 124gr +P round. I have also seen plenty of individuals die from ball 9mm, .40 and .45 rounds. Sooooo basically, the rules are the rules now in USPSA. I shoot my local matches with a Glock 19 in Limited and usually finished first in Limited. Also comes down to practice. I shoot minor in limited when i do because it is cheaper.....but I mostly shoot three gun where there is no power factory.
  24. I have a Criterion 16" with rifle length gas. Soooo smooth and have not had a problem with it. Won Limited division at Area 6 3 gun using the barrel. Very accurate too.
