Getting a Dissident Arms shotgun. Going with a 3 moa Vortex Venom. What is the best way to sight it in. Go off the slugs or a certain distance with the birdshot? Thanks for the advice. Adam

I had a 13.5 and it shot flatter and smoother then my 18" gun.

No I haven't right now I am only limited to a 200 yard range on a daily basis. Was wondering out further then that.

Hello, Wondering how the Daniel Defense Lightweight barrels hold up accuracy wise after shooting a course of fire then having to hit at a distance (3 gun). Reason I am asking is I already have a V9 upper and if they are good on the accuracy I don't have to get a new barrel. Thanks, Adam

How does the weight feel. Contacted them and they say the weight is 31 oz.....almost 2 pounds......

Definitely going to try their 13.7" barrel. If that works out might try their 16" as well.

I have found it matters even on a rifle length gas. Less pressure with the mid length coupled with the adjustable gas block means you can dial down the gas even more for a softer recoil impulse.

Never heard of this company but I am looking at the barrel you are using because short AND mid length.

Rolling thunder or Armalite comp. Going with that length for a quick transitioning rifle but still can hit at a distance.

Going to build another upper for 3 gun. Looking at either the Armalite barrel or ballistic advantage 13.7 inch barrel. Opinions? Another other good options out there? Thanks, Adam

So reading the rules it says aftermarket triggers. It did not specify that it had to be like the OFM. So i can drop in a Overwatch Precision flat trigger now in my Production gun?????

I pretty much run 55gr PMC bronze out to 400 with no problem. Shoots sub moa out of my rifle. If there are spinners I would use a heavier grain.

Also take a look at LWRC lowers. They are fully ambi and have been running one in competition with out any problems. Even changed out to a timmney trigger.

Run Walmart Federal 100 round packs in my Breda USA B12i and never had a problem.

Anyone get their hands on one and ran it? Seen some good videos out there.

PMC Bronze and Wolf Gold are the cheapest and PMC is very accurate out of my guns. I shoot the Bronze round out to 300-350 before switching to the heavier load.

Apparently every gun for sale on Armlist is a Scam. Every time I have emailed someone it usually comes back with "I no longer live in Florida (or I am on business but brought this firearm with me) but send me money and I will send you the gun." The spelling is usually horrible as well. Then when you state that this has to be a Scam I never hear back from them.........

I am looking to build another three gun upper that will also be used in a work capacity; exposed to rain and humidity. With that in mind I was looking at a few different barrel options and wondering if one was more accurate than the other. - FN 18" rifle gas - Daniel Defense 18" rifle gas - Criterion 18" rifle gas. I had an Armalite 13.5 inch 3 gun rifle. With the adjustable gas and comp the rifle barely moved!!!!!

I use strictly PMC Bronze 55 FMJ. Even use them for long range and can easily hit 8 inch circles at 400 and 500 yards if I do my part.

The 1-8 diamond reticle is in there, just type atibal in the search and it is the only in there.

Best brake to me personally is the new Armalite one that comes on their 3 gun rifles. I have been using Rubber City Armory bolts in any rifle I have built and they have all functioned flawlessly. The Taccom lightweight buffers are also could to go. I also agree to run the TTI buffer spring with it.

The Armalite Eagle is also a good choice. In the high 6s or low 7s and has a 1 in 8 twist barrel and a flip up rear sight.
