I don't think there is an official place to fill one out and win cool stuff this year. We tried to do one on boomershooter forum last year but it got jacked cause Kalani and Fortin had to miss the shoot off so brackets changed last minute. Alright I kinda figured as much, but that doesn't explain why they would actually have an ad on their website saying it. I am all about winning that free stuff! -

are they still doing that 3 Gun Nation giveaway that was on the website? You upload a bracket and then from those they pick the winner. I have not seen anything about it since I went to their website a month or go. -

I would go to Fort Hood. If you are looking for things to do there is plenty of them. I can think of just 5 ranges within 45 miles. Plenty of various shooting matches to keep a man happy for a long time. -
Why don't we have "2 gun" competitions?

A couple of shooters in my area do that same thing. Most of them it's pistol and rifle, but I have seen it both ways. We even have guys that shoot exclusively pistol just for practice. -
I know there are quite a few out there, but I was curious if anyone had any opinions on some Home Defense Courses or just a good introduction to pistol courses in general. I would like the focus to be on basic home defense using a pistol. We recently just had our first child and I want my wife to be able to protect herself if the situation ever arises. With that being said it would have to be geared towards newer shooters. I would prefer them being in or around Texas, but I will travel if the class is deemed that good. Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks!

What size shell loaders do use. I was looking on the site and they seem very similar to my friends Otto Load 2 belt, but his was the 24 shell version rather large and cumbersome I must say. But thanks for giving me this site def cheaper than the other versions I have been looking up.

Yea I am pretty much setup. I have a good friend that let's me use his M2 and even his pistol if I want both of them have all the various goodies. Now it's just gaining skill so I am not competing for 2nd to last place!

Big fan of the XD line of pistols! Is that the Competition model or full size model that you are shooting? Both of course are great choices. But you have my dreamsheet as far as 3 gun firearms are concerned although I was looking at the 930JM Pro, but only cause I can't justify spending $1100 bucks on a shotgun thats not a benelli...

Yea I don't own a Glock I would def. get an XDM model if they came out with one.

I have a "complete" rifle with a Stag 3 lower and a Stage 3G upper and a Burris TAC30 scope. It is going to be awhile before I am able to do anything regarding trigger job etc...but my pistol I have an XD40 looking to get an XDM 5.25. The only thing I "really" need is a shotgun. I have a SKB shotgun currently which is a great gun, but not so much for 3 gun considering it only holds 5 shells. I would like to get a 930JM Pro, but alas cant afford everything I want so someday...haha

I have used it for my various shooting matches, none of which are USPSA, but I just adapt them to fit my needs. Runs fine for me

Yea I am still collecting all my stinking gear and its been about 9 months and I just received my rifle! Wife has me on a very limited budget :S. If you are looking for other matches there are at least 2 or 3 a month in my area alone (Ft. Hood/Killeen) if you willing to drive a couple of hours.

I can't say much regarding the gas block and such, but I would have to say I think the Viper PST is excessive IMHO. I own a Burris TAC30 and that does the job really well and the money you save from not having to buy the Viper and irons can go to a trigger. Plus, the offset irons and an optic puts you in the open class I believe. I am a bigger of the tactical class myself...

I don't see how it really matters what happens. I think it's a good thing that 3 Gun Nation came along to popularize the sport, but a lot of the major matches don't seem to need the help. If I was any good I would say 3 Gun Nation is the best, but considering all my matches are outlaw (local) matches it does not matter to me.

So how do we fill this bracket out?? I noticed on the 3gunnation website we fill it out and upload it, but I have not found a fillable one or are we just supposed to print and scan back onto the comp?

Yea that was actually my problem as well, however, before I was going to end it in it magically disappeared. Stupid me brought it to my unit to show some people and it got taken out of my office. :s

I have just heard back from SIRT who was very prompt in there response and they informed me its common for the contact point for the battery to become bent slightly. So just a slight tweak and all is well. Thanks SIRT! Keep up with the great products!!!

I recently bought a SIRT training pistol and after changing the battery it no longer works...I have tried multiple batteries (different brands, etc...) Just wondering if this is a common problem or a simple solution that I just happen to overlook. HELP!! I need my dry fire training tool back!
