  1. I asked a CMMG rep if my MK9T could handle 9mm Major. He was emphatic it could. The barrel is stamped 9mm Nato. I never tried any 9mm Major in it. However, I tested 115 JHP Nato and they clocked @ 1750 fps out of my 16" barrel.
  2. It appears you might be able to use Czechmate mount...I'm using the Tevo TSO mount on my Czechmate...
  3. Went ahead and bought the inverted mount. It looks trick/wild and the red dot couldn't be any closer to the barrel. So far I really like how it shoots and handles with this configuration. Only negative is the inverted mount only allows for the small thumb rest.
  4. Had this exact same problem with 9mm brass produced in the last year or two. It only happens with Winchester and brass produced by Winchester for other headstamps such as Browning and Herters. I'm guessing they're brass isn't as good as it used to be. I stick with Blazer brass, Federal and Remington for 9mm major which I tumble with pins after each firing. I have one lot of Blazer I've loaded to major 8 times so far to see how long it lasts. So far holding up well.
  5. I'm using the Extreme Rebel tumbler. In my experience there is a sweet spot of time, brass size and quantity. I use pins, warm water and Dawn. For 9mm I run at least and hour with 500 cases. Too little brass and/or time and the cases don't fully clean or tarnish later on. I use allot of range pickup so cleaning is mandatory before roll sizing. Nor do I want any fouling or crud introduced into my progressive loading equipment and pricey firearms. I tumble all my rifle and pistol brass before any processing. Have yet to notice any problems whatsoever.
  6. Here are my 2019 dated "C" czechmate barrels. The lug has been strengthen on them both.
  7. Is the A you refer to the prefix on the serial number?
  8. I recently read posts by shooters who have seen and shot the new Czechmate to be released in 2023. Looking for those posts to provide a link... The comp design has changed for one thing.
  9. I think this is in New Zealand, not sure. Shows in stock. https://www.gunsupplies.co.nz/firearm-parts/cz-parts/slide-parts/cz-75-ts-czechmate-barrel-9mm/ Czechmate parts seem hard to get. I resorted to making my own slide stop pins since they're not available.
  10. IMHO roll sizing is only necessary when brass fired in a larger chamber is then loaded for a chamber with tighter specs. I bought the rollsizer mostly for the range brass I pickup but use it for all my own 9, 45 and 223/556.
  11. There is Rollsizer and Case Pro...didn't know there was any other brands available. These two brands approach the process differently. I went with the Rollsizer.
  12. Davsco: I have a Dillon RL1050 with the built in primer pocket swager.
  13. I prefer crimped brass so there is no question it's OFB. I pick up lots of OFB at the range and they typically leave the boxes as well. No guarantee it's OFB, however. No fool proof way for brass bought from vendors that I ever heard of.
  14. It's called a "nut" part 46 on the factory schematic. Several people and I have tried to buy the compensator separately without success. I'm guessing these and the comp are hand fit at the factory and not available to the public for some reason.
  15. For 185 and 200 LSWC I use 1.250" OAL and case mouth of .469".

https://youtu.be/K9HJQek21q4 The Sig guy says their now made at Sig custom works in NH. The adjustable trigger sounds interesting. Yesterday I saw $4500 but now I'm seeing $2199. Must have got the wrong one yesterday.

    X5 is back

Is this one they just announced with a MSRP of $4,500+ and made in the U.S. custom shop?
  18. Now I'm thinking I'll try the Shooters Connection inverted mount with the C More before going with a different optic. If that doesn't work out then it's back to the Universal mount idea.
  19. Past the 500 round mark and no fouling building in the comp.
  20. Now that I have the rods I marked the length and the slot for the retaining spring with a marker. The dremel with the flex cable tool and a metal cutting disk was the only tool I used. Cut the spring slot first. The disk cuts quickly. Freehand I beveled that end and then back on forth to reduce the diameter just like the factory part. Finally, cut off the rod with the disk and that was it. Total time less than 10 minutes. I have no skills for this sort of thing but it worked out pretty good. If I knew someone with a CNC etc I would have them make a jig or miter box thingee to make this a breeze.
  21. Ordered the bar stock from Amazon and they just arrived. These are 7+ 7/8s long. Plan to cut the groove with a cutting wheel and file a flat spot to ease getting past the retention spring... I'll be out of primers long before I use these up...lol...

    365x macro

I went with Whole Guns and it turned out to be a great holster IMHO.
  23. Looking to change optics on my Czechmate and Cajun makes a universal mount but website doesn't specify which red dots will fit it. Anyone know what optics the Cajun universal mount will accept?
  24. Hey texasdawg: Great solution !!! I have the dremel etc. so just the need the stock which I found on Amazon as you described. Thanks for the info!!!
