Hey Kurt, just an FYI: I know the dates are Apr 24-26, 2015. But the website still states Apr 23-25...and first paragraph of forum announcement (above) still states Apr 10-12. I look forward to the match...the Epic match out there earlier this year was awesome! Thanks for chasing sponsors for this new match.

To clarify, the 2015 Texas 3 Gun Championship dates were moved from April10-12 to 24-26th. I think they stated a conflict with an NRA event. [they have not cleared up the date change as well as they should] But the move eliminates potential conflict for this new Corpus match. Nick is correct that TXMG may still be a conflict....haven't seen anything from Sheldon on timing yet. I'll try to make this new Gulf Coast MG match and the TX3G! Thanks for creating this match!!!

SHOOTING DAYS ARE WHICH EXACTLY? The revised dates still state a Thursday to Sat match duration...versus a more traditional Friday-Sunday 3-day schedule (like TXMG - they run it as all-day Fri & Sat, half-day Sun)? Assuming this is a 3-day shoot, then the Thursday start is likely to create problems for lots of folks based on the extra vacation day required to un-ass themselves from their work chairs for both Thu & Fri. Or is this a 2-day match (Fri-Sat) with the RO shoot on Thursday? I'll sign-up regardless of the days, but I worry it will probe problematic for many shooters. Please confirm match days.

Sounds great! As another one of the 50 EPIC3G participants, I can attest that what Nick stated about the venue is spot-on. Only problem will be that way more than 250 shooters will want to participate. I'll bet most of the folks who shot there this Sat will be anxiously awaiting registration to open for this new Texas 3 Gun Championship. It's already on my calendar!

Gents, just curious - is there no call for setup assist in advance of the 0830 sign-in? I guess I'm just used to WHIDPA Bob's request for setup support @ 0730.

Lan/Mike, I'm gonna stay dry this AM and just stick with dry fire / reload drills for today instead of potentially playing in the mud @ IZ.

Just a note of thanks to Fred for putting on another fine monthly match (my 2nd in a row up there)...with the help of Bob and the ATM3G guys. It seems I have far too much fun being abused by Fred's Stages...and am learning a ton from the matches as well as from all the other shooters. By far the best monthly match near Houston!

What is the match fee for the monthly 3gun match? Any extra fee as a first timer (like @ ImpactZone where you pay for insurance, etc?)

What's with the "practice" registration?
