This mount allows you to install a FTP Alpha 3 or Romeo 3 Max red dot optic on the CZ Shadow 2 Optics Ready gun. The factory slide cut is not long enough to fit either of these optics so this mount raises the optic to be slightly above the level of the slide allowing you to install either of these larger red dot optics. Looking at the mount, you shouldn't have to do anything as it appears the same mount fits the Romeo 3 Max. The Romeo 3 Max is about the same overall length and just the front contours are slightly different. It is "possible" but unlikely that you may need to clearance the blast shield a little at the bottom.
