Hi All I just talked to some people in the know about the Area 2 3 gun match..........here is what I got about the prize table.....50K plus, including 3 M1A's, 8 XD pistols, 5 Berreta 92 vector's, Mid South Tactical uppers (very nice), lots of JP uppers, lots of DPMS uppers and a whole lot more!!..........Those of you 3 gunners going to Superstition Mountain......this will be a great prelim...........if you got shut out of Superstition Mountain......this is where you can make it up!.......The stages are awsome with a good mix of shooting that all levels will enjoy........you can see them at the USPSA website under Area 2 info........If you are worried about going to California with all of your gear I offer this.........I have made countless driving trips there over the last 4 years and never had any problems.....I have been in their airports with all my 3 gun gear......never a problem.....come to 5 Dog's Range and have some fun.......like SVI4ME sais.......they have better things to do!! Hi All, Been reading all the comments and can relate to all of them. Sorry we picked the worst weekend for weather in California this year....that explains some sbt's not showing...........Bummer HUH??? The only other option would have been during holloween or the bay bridge charity classic....also sponsered by Infinity. Now that we showed this new club what USPSA is all about....we can start a yearly match with them........they took alot of money from us to build the stages........lots of dirt work and hay and pipes and things like that.........all was VERY expensive........but the good news is that its all done and will not be a factor again. The club was very excited about the way you all handeled yourselves, ie: not like paintball guy's.....they have never seen USPSA before this.....Good job all of you !! ........ We lost some sponsers due to being a new match in california on a holiday weekend at a new range..........Basically they wanted to see what kind of a turn out would happen.........the ones we lost were pleased with the overall succes and will be on board next year.........All the explainations above explain the prize table....not the Infinity prize table you are used to........SVI spread out "the huge table" over many matches this year and I applaude them for it.......It went coast to coast.......Next years table will bigger and better gaurenteed .........We will have on stage RO's next year for sure......Roving RO's dont work at big matches.......sorry for that .........Lets talk food!!........Yes Taran and I agree that the food was a "BOX OFFICE FLOP".........Not that we didnt spend good money on it..........WE DID!......just didnt get what we paid for and enough sandwiches left over to build another hay bale stage.....next time, I'll be in charge of food personally and I promise I will get it right....those of you who know me know my passion for good food.........Due to Mother nature and a loosley written course description, stage 6 was thrown out.........the high winds and rain saturday night loosened a wall which allowed a no-shoot to sway back and forth. a shooter complained that the wall moved faster than the triple swinger on stage 7 .....also due to lack of good course detail on the course description, the stage got gamed every which way and loose!!.........at least it was the smallest point stage of the match and we heard that most didnt fair well on it anyway...........I heard that most liked all the stages and as far as shooting goes we hope that you liked the challenges they presented, not to mention the work-out you got getting to all of them ........I didnt get to shoot on sunday.........went home with a shattered equalibrium due a nasty ear infection on friday.........saturday I couldnt do anything right........no balance no rythem.......brutal.... Hey all............man I love this topic........As we try and bring the USPSA 3-gun back to Las Vegas, we are also discussing some rule changes. What the hell is wrong with putting down a loaded gun and moving on to another!........Dont we treat every gun as if it were loaded anyway?..........We never walk in front of an empty gun now.......We always clear the CLEARED weapon while never walking in front of it..........just put the damned thing down in safe direction and move on.........if you AD, you go home. As you do now anyway.....Just seems safer to me with out all that speed unloading or dropping mags and firing wildly at nothing. I DQed this last Nats when I put down a loaded shotgun to grab my rifle. Hey I made a mistake with my shotgun according to the current rules and I accept it..but the gun was pointed down range and never walked in front of.....totally safe in my opinion........my DQ isnt the reason I feel this way..I have always wanted to discard loaded guns........When I'm done with it I'm DONE! Hi all...........been really busy and havent had time for an update...........The stages are beeing built as I type and all is well.......Looks like we will have roaming RO,s a good idea I think. Ihave had a lot of shooters ask if they could shoot thru on Saturday because of the holiday weekend and family and all. Yes you may, but on Saturday only.........We need to be timely on Sunday so that we all get home at decent time to kick all that family out of our homes ........ A quick update on the match We found a photographer that will be dedicated to taking pictures of all you "gentelmen".........I use that word loosely..........And guess what??........She's a hottie too!!! ..............On stage design.....A stage has been modified so that we shoot from the top of a skeet tower down about 20 feet or so.........Looks like a hell of a lotta fun and sooo different from the usual stages we see all year..........all the other mods are shaping up nicely...I know everyone will love this match!!....nothing on RO's yet. more later Robb Woods Team Infinity

Hey Chuck.........inconsistentcy in the ROing was a concern with the "Travelling" idea. We think we can overcome that with good stage design and using the stage designers themselves as RO's.........Everyone would be intimate with every stage.......or we could just tell every shooter to shoot the stages the same way .........It'll work out nicely I'm sure..........What's a Baluga Dude anyway??.........Dont memorize the stages as they are being changed.........We are taking out some of the busyness so nobody has a brain fart ..........The match is filling up so hurry with your apps...........We dont want alot of walk-ons the day of the match to bogg us down.........Though you will not be turned away, the penalty will be no viewing of the Hotties!! more later Robb Woods Team Infinity

SVI4ME.............L10 and Production will be their own divisions. As far as RO's go, I know that they will shoot for free but not sure yet on how the assignments are going to go. We have talked about a SQUAD RO that travels the match and shoots with that squad. After all everyone knows how relaxed this match always is. I like the idea....What do you guy's think? On another note.........Lunch will be served both days FREE...........and dont forget the Swedish Bikini Team.........It's my understanding that we will have not 4 but 6 Swedish girls for our perusal........What more can we give!! Since the announcement of an open division at the Infinity California State Championship, the apps are pouring in. You open guys must really hate limited .....We have more sponsers and therefore more Guns Hint, Dave Sevigney will be there, but wont be shooting production.. The stages you see now are being slightly modified to make them even more fun. Coming to Vegas Huh? We have a pistol match scheduled for Sunday 17th, but do to alot of us going to the AZ 400 were probably going to cancell it. There is a gun show that starts on the fri 22nd at Cashman Field. But hey, your in Vegas!! Take everyone to the Strip. There is something for all to do. Robb Woods

The Infinity California Stock Gun Match is no longer a Limited gun only match. Alot of people asked us why "stock only" and we really didnt have a good answer. We also feel that it eliminates many very good shooters who just dont shoot limited but would like to shoot our match. So all you open speedsters get your apps in ASAP. Because of this change, the late fee has been waved. There will be good directions to the range very soon so you can make travel arrangements. There is an issue with posting them on the internet, but we will get it worked out and everyone will be informed. Also, no Team Infinity Member will be shooting for prizes at our match. Score and trophy only. Hey everyone, The US Practical Shotgun Championship was an outstanding match. Like Benny said, the stages were challenging , well thought out and down right fun! Not to mention Jeff Cramblit is a first class host, even if he did make me RO. Thanks to Benny and all the other sponsers for great prizes. If you own a shotgun, you need to be there next year.
