  1. Hey Randy, There's no going wrong with any of the ST/SV/SP 2011 frames. From my POV, SPS is great. You should also consider other EU brands, like as someone mentioned, CZ. THey have to most amazing competition guns, like the CZ 75 Tactical sports(Called Standard IPSC-former model), and the famed Champion(just throw a mount on it and you're done). I have a couple of friends owning them, and they're awesome. Real fun to shoot. What about Tanfoglio? or Sphinx? These are also CZ based but have their own niche. Peter Stahl? I could go on

    Imi 9mm

Hey Pat, Carlos, It is IMI - Factory ammo. I did get this from IMI, and there's no nato stamping(I used to shoot WCC 124 Nato rounds). IMI makes Winchester ammo as well aid ammo as you've mentioned earlier. I-Merc is also an IMI partner. Yeah....reloading - a touchy subject - we're not allowed Local and imported mmunition costs are staggering, but that's a different story. I did find the L18A1 to be Austrian 7.62 in my searches. Odd as it is, I didn't see it was British designation...cool. Thanks for the replies guys, I'll continue to search and if I find anything I'd let you know. Cheers.
  4. Founds some nice pics of USP Experts, including 45's with the regular USP scope mounts. Guys say they found it on Ebay. Anyhow, if it fits Experts, there shouldn't be a problem with the Tactical, right? Also, saw a nice B&T scope mount on a 45' Expert. *I still think you'd have to replace the front sight...
  5. Hey Oko - I don't know about the tactical series...there's a problem with the front sight and scope mounts. What's mentioned below, it's for standard full sized USP's. Please forgive me if you're already aware of what's written. The HK USP scope mount(discontinued), if you can find one, comes in 2 versions. 40. and 45. cal'. It sits on the universal mounting slot, along with HK's quik-comp' compensator(also very hard to obtain). THe mount accepts standard weaver rings. THese parts are quite rare...I was able to find them in the past after a long search. If you need, I can dig back in and find the links. *If you want pics, I have some scanned ones from a book. B-Square offers a nice mount - B-Square Aimtech Mounts are also cool - Aimtech I know GG&G make a scope mount for the MK23 - Scope Mount for MK23 Hope it helps...

    Imi 9mm

Heya, Has anyone ever encountered IMI L18A1 Series of 9mm cartridges? I don't know if it's a special series or not. I have new cartridges, '05, with L18A1 'imprinted' on them, and I'm trying to figure what is it exactly? maybe it was intended for NATO? Cheers,
  7. Marvelous... That's the SVI CMore Mount, isn't it?
  8. Bloody ********....!!!! I'd pay to be there.... Looks awesome.
  9. Shooters Connection Speedshooters(SSI)
  10. SPS grips are slightly thicker than S_I and require fitting. While some using the Arredondo holster(Ralph himself), reported they had to trim some of the grip in order for it to fit.

  12. Hey, Nothing but praise to both Guga and SSI.

    My Guns

Hey MC, Anything new? I'm quite interested to know whether the local SPS distributors in the US carry the same barrels.

    My Guns

Hi MC, Well...I don't know much about the technical side, I can only give you a description and some info that I'm aware of. The barrel is manufactured by Lothar Walther(Lother Walther). It's a match grade barrel, threaded, which like you've stated, has a sleeve on it. Let me quote SPS : Mine's a custom model, so they've fitted a front sight on the barrel. The regular model, from the catalog, does not come with a front nor rear sight, since it comes with a Docter red dot sight. Thanks for the compliment.
  16. Hey people, A friend wishes to replace his standard CZ sport tactical sights, with regular Bomar style sights. Any ideas? comments? suggestions? Cheers, Cy'

    My Guns

Hi I should thank the Gear forum for the Nill grips. I've tried to speak to Germany, but to no avail. It was in the Gear forum, that SRT gave me the information on the importer of the grips - Larry's Guns in Maine. Superb service. It's extremely hot! We don't have Production in my country, so I carry the P7 on a daily basis, and sometimes for matches(Standard division).

  19. Hi, I don't think it's a stupid question at all. SPS mags fits STI/SVI and Para frames.
  20. SPS grips are wider. I don't know by how much...
  21. Hey D.C., The credit goes to a dear friend I just uploaded the pics! I've made a small PDF, with the drills and a short summary on each one. I have a more detailed package, but it's in hebrew. Drills As for the Jericho, it's owner is the Standard Champion for years now. I'm not sure, if it's chromed. I'll ask. In Israel, we have 3 divisions - Open, Modified and Standard. THe majority shoots standard, then open, and last comes, modified. We do not have production, limited, rifles, etc'. The stages were really nice, and the entire competition was a huge success. Everyone enjoyed 3 sunny days, and some even say it's the best championship thus far.
  22. There you go *More will be added shortly. Report any problems.
