  1. Was going to start this thread by saying, "GO"....

I have a few Stock 2's.  Eric Grauffel built me a Stock 3 when I was in Canada for a course and its was, "OK"...(had a video of him shooting it and then handing off to me but cant find).

Found the stock 3 a tad nose heavy.  Compensated with brass grip panels but now we are WAY out of CO territory as that's where I am heading to.

So is the Stock Master a Stock 3 comparable pistol or something entirely different?  if different, what is the balance or overall handling and shooting characteristics compared to a Stock 2?

  2. Thought I would start a direct thread on this....

Any history with running the R3 XL on a Shadow or Tanfo Stock 2?  Have an extra XL that was going to use on an open project (PT Honcho) but deciding to likely let the gun go when it arrives and stick to production / CO.

Just a quick note that I’ve hit 20k on a romeo3 xl with no issues. Seems to be holding up ok.

    Slide or Frame mounted?

I have an XL sitting here on my desk that either I am going to sell or get one of the PD Stock 2 slides cut up for it...just concerned about its longevity.

Took my akai SRO Mount and got to work.  Clipped the post off and then drilled / tapped.  Just have to make sure and hold optic plumb while tightening down.  Should work fine since I don’t plan on taking it back off once I spray the Mount black.i9DMDaU.jpgK707JVP.jpgee9mGdg.jpg

    Good on you!

I have an XL I picked up near new and am figuring out a mount.  Have a Honcho incoming (I hope) in a few weeks and its coming with an RTS2/Romeo3 mount but not sure how it will be configured.

  5. I am okay with waiting...as long as I receive a courtesy update or the like.  Its what I do for my customers.  I am in no great hurry other than anticipation.

We are in unique times and working from home tends to lead me to watching Honcho videos which does not help....

Not like this video shows much. But to satisfy the antsy pants in this post, you'll forget about the wait when you get yours on the range. It’s a bad a$$ gun.

    Ah.

    Must...resist....multiple email inquiries....to PT......

Trying to hold it together in anticipation...a good thing.
