  1. I've had the CGW treatment done to my 75B and it completely cleans up the trigger and you can do it yourself. In fact if you go the CGW route you can get save yourself a little bit of $ with his SRS and sights too. It's an option you could look into.
  2. Check out CZ Custom's new HAJO sight. It fits in the standard shadow cut with option of height adjustment. The competition sights from CZ Custom are pretty solid.
  3. I find that my TS is dead on accurate! It's a little hefty but it's a sturdy system to use regularly and for the price difference between a TS and a S_I platform you could by several slide stops and barrels. One last thing....the trigger is perfect out of the box too.
  4. You could look into the CZ-75 Shadow which is the short dust cover version. It doesn't have a firing pin block like a SP-01 Shadow, but without the full length rail like the CZ-75B. It's the best of both worlds.

I am about to order his SRS kit for firing pin block CZ-75's today and I will give you a rundown of what it does once I put it in.

    CZ 40 P

I'd go ahead and get it. It's a pretty rare CZ and what's wrong with having more CZ's?
  7. Thanks Stuart! Trying to stock up on mags for the Shadow you guys are making me!
  8. I remember reading somewhere on here that you can us the Mec Gar .40 mags with 9mm. I am probably wrong.
  9. As with anything involving small parts it takes a little patience, however, in my experience it's not too difficult. Also, there's a wealth of info on youtube about taking apart the sear cage and removing the firing pin assembly. Look up P foma, he has a very in depth video on taking them down.
  10. Yes, but you would have to remove the firing pin block for it to function.
  11. Those are the CZ75 grips Tall Guy, you just have to give 'em some love! I've installed the Hogue #75000 on the Tactical Sport, large frame Witness and the CZ97B (the most stretch). Some people heat them, boil them, but I just screw on one side, put a little oil on the back of the finger grooves, and stretch them over (it's easier if you can get a third hand to screw on the other side, while you do the stretching). I bought a used TS which had the grips strategically cut without the finger groove. They work well and feel great.
  12. rOkwan how'd the shoot go on the 11th in King George? I am interested in heading out to that one soon.
  13. Pivoproseem is right about the trigger on the TS! The TS is an extremely accurate pistol, albeit a little on the heavy side, but it's a great pistol for managing the .40.
  14. It'll function without the FPB if you get a spacer for the sear or a pre-b sear I believe.
  15. From what I gather Shadows tend to like Hornady HAP 124 grain bullets...

    Cajun Gun Works

Just installed mine and it totally cleaned up the guns action. Best purchase so far and the installation was pretty straightforward. Just a heads up, he will sell the disco and hammer strut attached to the hammer for a little extra $.
  17. You could also get a reduced mainspring kit from Cajun Gun Works or send it to CZ Custom for a trigger job. I believe CGW reduced kit can get DA pulls of around 5lbs, which is almost as light as an untuned SA pull on on a CZ-75. That's of course if you want to shoot production.

    Cajun Gun Works

My new race hammer arrived today and I can't wait to put it in my 75B. I agree, Dave may be the nicest guy on the planet and more than willing to talk about CZ's all day long.
  19. Just ordered the race hammer as I'll be using it more for fun and the occasional IDPA use. Thanks to JonNc for the heads up on buying the whole assembly, it's a hell of a deal actually. Thanks everyone for the advice, I'll let you guys know how it goes.
  20. How do you like the CGW sights? Great looking gun too!
  21. Just got into the competitive shooting scene and I am finding to be quite fascinating. Any help or info matches are practice in the Richmond area would be greatly appreciated.
  22. JonNC thanks for the heads up. I think that's the route I am going to go real soon.
