I have taken a class from Eric Grauffel and his dad! excellent, strict and solid foundation in IPSC training. His method is different compared to Matt Burkett as I have seen and adopted all his videos when I started. Second on my list is Manny as he use to be a teacher from what I heard.

Eric thanks for the reply, wide45, I tried it again and no luck
galling seems to get worse after heating it up. i will soak it in
liquid wrench 24hrs. lets see what happens. If not i will have
to cut the comp, put on lathe to take off to save the barrel..
Thanks for all replies.

after 1 hr of soaking in liquid wrench, heated again and it just moved 1/4 inch back and forth.
Been working for 2 hrs now..dont look like its moving anywhere. Will just put it
in lathe and cut a Dawson TJ compensator!! live and learn right?

I tried putting on the old compensator and it went on but wont flush with the slide.I decided to take it off and
now I'm heating it up and the comp just turn counter clockwise about half way around and now
just wont budge?I broke 1 screw driver, wacked my arm, bleeding and burnt.
I dipped it in liquid wrench hope that it would help. any suggestions?
Thanks!

Reason I went with CMJ is that there is no lead exposed at the bottom
of the bullet. Clean compensator! accurate as JHP. Since its round nose,
reliability of feeding in the ramp is 100%..I never looked back. My chrono in
9major have reached up to 1450s fps with IMR 7625 or autocomp, no problem.

According to Mr. Schumann, never put anything in the barrel.
He even recommend not touching the inside of the barrel! Not even boresnake.
Since then back in 2004, I never did. All my guns still shoots
accurately as the day I got them. I use moly and Jacketed...
No Issues. I recommend leave the barrel alone and just clean
other parts of the gun. Thats how I do it.

Taking a super GM class was the best thing I ever did in IPSC sport.
Had to relearn everything again and it pays off. One of the lesson learned
is learning how to relax while shooting. When i feel that this happens when I shoot
a stage, it turns out better than expected. Kind of like "shooting in slow motion"
I'm sure most had this experience.

All I can say is that cr speed works, DAA is twice the cost
and can be scratched coz of being aluminum. If you have the money
and want the best and most expensive equipt, then get DAA..

will it sort 9mm markov? it is 9x18..I hate it.

Man that is close!! I dont know but Eric just really knows this
game very well..
-
Nice! but with those head shots I dont think its hosing..but good.
-
It is definitely a hit! as far as I know,I think its a family movie
that hits all ages..
-
No lead build up on that since there's no comp!
-
Being able to go into a zone and not worry about everyone is the KEY!
i can understand and would be simple to do on a stage but what do you do
when you are shooting man to man shoot off! ZONE and FOCUS on your
target!

How is the dot tracking on HS6? up down or figure 8?
-
Hell no!! just took it out to clean the gun and it was a bitch to put back!
never took it apart again.

Good for KC! I'm sure this will benefit his shooting carrer.
Can't wait for World shoot 2011 and I'm sure KC will give them hell!

I have a few scars from the 90 gr rem bullet going a bit more than 1400 in a buddys gun . in fact his loads got banned from use a few years back at Steel Challenge.
The bullet imploded and cam back had to get it cut out of my arm
Alamo has run a local steel match for over 20 years, I think he knows steel shooting as good as anyone.
If its JHP then I can understand, but if you can get round nose bullets
I think it might do the job.
-
So I guess, its just not worth it? I was thinking bear creek since
I can get it locally.
-
Thinking of shooting half and half to shoot more at the range. I know it really makes a difference
in price..anyone of you do this? if so what lead bullet, chrono(fps, powder)? then I can shoot jacketed to clean the gun
and spray some oil on the compensator. Thoughts or any problem with this?

PV and MG! +1 save me in taxes also..all gun parts are ordered online also.
