Hello, Where is this class offered in Sacramento? I'm living in this area for now and would be interested. Can you pm me the info?

I'm going with a tac-30 because I found one for 250 used with a mount. After researching, I dont think you can go wrong with either.
-
I know sportsman guide has them for around 58 bucks but I would say support the forum vendors.

How do these upper receivers compare to a Vltor Mur1a? I have handled a Mur-1 and they seem like a great solid upper and fits tight with most lowers.

I have the Warren/Sevigny sights with a .245 FO in front. I found that to be POA/POI for me. Others will argue to get a .215 FO front but there is a counter argument about that height and having to use a 6- o'clock hold.
So far I've only shot 500 or so rounds with my new sights and they have been great at that set-up. I wouldn't mind however switching it up to a .235 front just to test it out. But I'll do so when my budget allows me.

What are these going to be going for when they come out? 1600? 1700?
$1,700.00 thats funny No Brother, you can get one with shipping at $1,399. I have had dinners that cost more than that

I know that Ken Anderson at Nordic will have them very soon = he is on the forum but does not have them on his web page yet = send Ken a note! = same price as Optics planet and Nordic sponsors events and this forum
Get the mount from Nordic too = I like the 2" offset

Thanks Jamie!
I bought mine from Scott at Liberty Optics for $1289.00 - Scott always hook up shoopters and is ALWAYS awesome to deal with!
Good prices. I'm still waiting till maybe after the shot show to see if they come out a with a mil reticle. I already shoot a mil/mil scope so I dont know it going to a 1-6x with moa will confuse me?

Welcome.
I planning on moving down to the bay after I graduate. Hopefully We can shoot together at a range in the near future. What events and ranges do you recommend checking out?

There is no "best" barrel out there.... However there are some manufacturers that are more reputable and use higher quality than others. (Krieger, Lilja, JP, etc.... list can go on and on and on.)
To start off, what is your budget?

Hello,
Just inherited a dillon 550b and I'm excited to get started in reloading. The tool head I received has dies for a .357 and a powder system with small powder charge bar.
I dont have a .357 but a 9mm and I was wondering what exactly do I need to switch to make everything work?
Dillon 9mm conversion kit and 9mm die is all right?
Now going into dies, do most just use the Dillon 9mm carbide dies or what brands are recommended?

Dont load to max, 5% less is more accurate and doesnt beat your gun. I use H335 with the 55g and load to 24.5g, similar to AA2230
Hornady 55g? What kind of brass people are most people using?
-
Keep the primer slide clean.
That's not possible unless you do you decapping on another press.
So lets just say I inherited a used 550 and the person before me decapped a lot on this press. Do I need to replace the primer slide or just disassemble and clean more often if I'm not able to have a 2nd press?

How accurate is your current set up?
(a 3 to 5 shot group size at 100 yards fired from a stable bench rest would be a good baseline for comparison.)
What type of ammo are you using?
What is the twist rate of your barrel?
If you are shooting 55 grain FMJ I can guarantee smaller groups when you go to quality ammo with a Hollow Point or Soft Point bullet.
I haven't measured the accuracy yet--just got the scope yesterday.
I'm using wolf 62 grain hollow points because that's all I can afford to shoot a decent amount of. (I'm saving $100 per 1000)
Twist rate is a 1 in 8 out of a .223 wylde
I dont know much about reloading or ammo data but I do know WOLF ammo and accurate do not belong in the same sentence. That is just from watching/observing my friends shooting russian ammo. I would start accurizing your AR with better ammo?

I enjoy the sevigny/ warren combo on my G34. I purchased mine from Chris Patty and super quick shipping!

$100.00 and a "good" single stage trigger just does'nt go together. Add another $100.00 and get a JP installed correctly.
+2
You can get a benny hill comp, ar gold trigger, and switch out to Jp's LMOS.
Most importantly, buy more ammo and shoot because quality trigger time should be included in the equation somewhere.

are most using the fiocchi dummy rounds to practice with? I'm not too familiar with dummy rounds for shotguns.

I alleviate some discomfort from tennis elbows or any joint pains through mobility and a process called flossing.
Here is a link to the floss bands and the methodology around it.
Again, treatment varies from person to person so perform at your own risk.

From what I know, I believe that a m2 is a m2. I think the parts will fit interchangeably. Would some one else like to clarify?

Does the ADM Mount come with the Glass?
I dont believe so.
I was able to mess with one today and compared it to a the z6i. I think for $1000 cheaper... the vortex wins hands down. The razor looks like a $2000 scope. It's rugged, the turrets have a great feel, the FOV is awesome, the eye box is forgiving, and the glass is SUPER clear.

Good shooting! That nordic barrel seems promising! I can't wait to shoot mine.

pm me if you want and I will give you his cell #
Thank you. I've got a hold of him.

Thanks for all your info. I received my extra spring so hopefully I can get out and finally shoot this thing without a feeding issue.
I still can't get a hold of Mike. Does anyone know where he is? I know it's only 10 bucks but I wouldn't mind that spring that I paid for that never got sent.

Thanks for the input guys. I didn't mean to stir up the pot here and I apologize if I have caused any drama with my question. I'm just going to go with the complete LMOS and bolt set up from Chris Patty and just call it a day.
Thanks again.

Do you plan on shooting enough to wear it out?
As oh right now, since I'm starting out, probably not. Does the different material affect anything else besides durability?

Hello,
I'm looking at the JP LMOS and was just wondering if the "enhanced" bolt is worth the extra cost? I know that it's made out of "stronger" material but is it going to affect anything else (function, etc)?
I found a BCM for $70 http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-AR15-Bolt-Assembly-MPI-p/bcm%20bolt%20assemly%20mp.htm
Also the JP "regular" bolt: http://www.makereadyproshop.com/product-p/jp-bolt.htm
Just wondering what are the benefits of having the "enhanced" bolt?
