  1. I use Dawson FO .235's on both my G34's and G35's with Sevigny rears. The .215 had point of impact a few inches high. Tried the .245 that was offered for the sevigny rear and was hitting a bit low. The .235 has me dead on. Been using them for years.

How wide of a .235 were you using? .125? .105?

  2. I have the Warren/Sevigny sights with a .245 FO in front. I found that to be POA/POI for me. Others will argue to get a .215 FO front but there is a counter argument about that height and having to use a 6- o'clock hold.

So far I've only shot 500 or so rounds with my new sights and they have been great at that set-up. I wouldn't mind however switching it up to a .235 front just to test it out. But I'll do so when my budget allows me.

    Thanks Jamie!

I bought mine from Scott at Liberty Optics for $1289.00 - Scott always hook up shoopters and is ALWAYS awesome to deal with!

Good prices. I'm still waiting till maybe after the shot show to see if they come out a with a mil reticle. I already shoot a mil/mil scope so I dont know it going to a 1-6x with moa will confuse me?

  4. Hello,

Just inherited a dillon 550b and I'm excited to get started in reloading. The tool head I received has dies for a .357 and a powder system with small powder charge bar.

I dont have a .357 but a 9mm and I was wondering what exactly do I need to switch to make everything work?

Dillon 9mm conversion kit and 9mm die is all right?

Now going into dies, do most just use the Dillon 9mm carbide dies or what brands are recommended?

  5. How accurate is your current set up?

(a 3 to 5 shot group size at 100 yards fired from a stable bench rest would be a good baseline for comparison.)

What type of ammo are you using?

What is the twist rate of your barrel?

If you are shooting 55 grain FMJ I can guarantee smaller groups when you go to quality ammo with a Hollow Point or Soft Point bullet.

I haven't measured the accuracy yet--just got the scope yesterday.

I'm using wolf 62 grain hollow points because that's all I can afford to shoot a decent amount of. (I'm saving $100 per 1000)

    Twist rate is a 1 in 8 out of a .223 wylde

I dont know much about reloading or ammo data but I do know WOLF ammo and accurate do not belong in the same sentence. That is just from watching/observing my friends shooting russian ammo. I would start accurizing your AR with better ammo?

  6. $100.00 and a "good" single stage trigger just does'nt go together. Add another $100.00 and get a JP installed correctly.

    +2

You can get a benny hill comp, ar gold trigger, and switch out to Jp's LMOS.

Most importantly, buy more ammo and shoot because quality trigger time should be included in the equation somewhere.

  7. Does the ADM Mount come with the Glass?

    I dont believe so.

I was able to mess with one today and compared it to a the z6i. I think for $1000 cheaper... the vortex wins hands down. The razor looks like a $2000 scope. It's rugged, the turrets have a great feel, the FOV is awesome, the eye box is forgiving, and the glass is SUPER clear.

  8. Hello,

I'm looking at the JP LMOS and was just wondering if the "enhanced" bolt is worth the extra cost? I know that it's made out of "stronger" material but is it going to affect anything else (function, etc)?

    I found a BCM for $70 http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-AR15-Bolt-Assembly-MPI-p/bcm%20bolt%20assemly%20mp.htm

Also the JP "regular" bolt: http://www.makereadyproshop.com/product-p/jp-bolt.htm

Just wondering what are the benefits of having the "enhanced" bolt?
