  1. Another Taylor Freelance user here. Dont have anything bad to say about it.
  2. You can try to dremel or modify your OG base to mimic how the new base is engineered?
  3. The Arca rail is nice. If you aren't sure if you want to run Arca or Pic, you can look at the RRS set up that allows you to attach your bipod to either. As far as the Atlas Cal (doesn't pan ) vs PSR/BT10 (pans). I believe they all have some degree of cant. You'll have to get behind them and see which works for you and your intention with the rifle. I prefer the Cal over the PSR for PRS/NRL stages. With that being said, the Harris bipod is still one of the easiest/cheapest option compared to the Atlas and Cyke-pod. I do enjoy the preload of the Atlas a bit more than the Harris but you can run all the stages without an issue with a Harris. Check out this comparison chart: https://shop.accu-shot.com/Atlas-Bipods-Compare.php
  4. It’s hard to beat the Glock mags. Durable, cheap, readily available. You can spend more dough for some MBX steel mags but I don’t see the value in that, especially for 10rd’rs
  5. The SVI/STI WRS holster from bladetech fits the Marauder.
  6. Everyone seems to have a 6'' pistol or a 5'' bushing style versions in proximity to me. I was hoping someone on the internet has came across this problem and found a solution. ***Update** Jeremy over at Shooter's Source confirmed that the WRS is compatible with the Marauder. +1 for Shooter's Source for the help.
  7. Hello, I'm in search of a holster but I can't seem to find a match for the half tactical rail on the Marauder. I emailed Bladetech about their WRS but they told me that they don't have one made specifically for the Marauder. Does anyone know if their (WRS) 2011 5'' model will accommodate the Marauder? I would hate to make the purchase if it doesn't fit. Thanks, DL
  8. I found this data sheet a few years back as well. See attachment: VArgetSMK.pdf
  9. I have had great success with 24.5 gr of varget, 69 smk, LC brass, and cci primers. My COAL was 2.25 so ymmv.
  10. Like rigger said, you should redevelop your load whenever you change brass, powder, projectiles, etc. For me, I load my .308 lapua load is at a lower charge weight than my FC and Winchester brass loads. You can probably go down 5% and and work your way back up or just do another ladder/OCW test. I hope that helps.
  11. Sarge, Did you compare the Xtreme 124 RN with the 124 JHP from Xtreme? I would like to know what people think about those two options. I'm down to my last 1k of MG 124jhp and wouldn't mind trying another brand if it's cheaper.
  12. I found these Adidas to be pretty comfortable. They are call Terrex Fast R. They aren't cleats but they are a comfortable all terrain shoe. http://www.adidas.com/us/product/mens-outdoor-terrex-fast-r-shoes/QP670?cid=V21243
  13. For the people using are using the Clays powder, it's just the Hodgdon Clays and not the Universal Clays correct? I'm shooting titegroup with my 9mm right now and I'm looking to try other powders but I want to make sure it's the correct one.
  14. Same here. I load my 55gr with 25gr of h335 and it accurate enough for me but the off the shelf stuff shoots up to 2'' groups at 100 yards out of my 18'' wilson barrel.
  15. Any one have a .215 that they want to trade for a .245? My .245 is shooting low 3'' at 18 yards. I figured I would ask here before I go and buy a new front site.
  16. Off topic but what knob are you using to adjust the powder charge on the 9mm powder bar? It looks like a brass knob and I have not seen that before.
  17. +1 on the Vanek. I purchased one off a member and put it in my g34 and noticed that the creep and break is much better. Although I have not tried the 25 cent trigger job yet, I cannot compare those two.
  18. shoot as mentioned above and thanks50 for 50% off accessories
  19. Ditto. I'm new to reloading as well but after going through this forum and asking around, I started my load development with 124gr JHP, 4.0gr of titegroup and loaded 20 rounds at various COAL. I had 1.125, 1.135, 1.145 COAL and found that the 1.13 and 1.14 shot the best out of my g17. Again, this is what I did and but 4.0gr seems like a good weight for the my gun. I dont know what to do with the next step but maybe work on the powder charge at the COAL of 1.140. Good luck.
  20. +1 Im am ordering a .230. My .240 Is about 1 inch low at 15yds. Are you seeing any in stock? Dawson is sold out.
  21. I've loaded some 1.125 all the way to 1.145 and my glock 34 seems to like the 1.145 with 124jhp better than the short OAL. I'm loading with 4gr or TG . I haven't tried 1.15 but it's the next length I want to try.
  22. I considered it as well, but I don't think head movement is an issue as the head will "top out" the same way with every round so it is a non-issue. I believe the OAL issue is largely based on the brass. You are probably right. I'm still new to reloading and that kit seemed like a easy fix. I'll keep my eyes out a little more to see what others have to say before I buy.
  23. I've been getting variances too from loading 9mm. 1.133-1.140 with a 124gr. I'm thinking about ordering one of these: http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296/product/T1230
  24. Same here. I would just like to know if anyone has ran this TTI kit or has anything to say about them.
