I dont know if this is the right section to post but Powder Valley just got some SMKs back in stock.
Now if MG would just let me get some 9mm 124gr....
-
now.... if I can only get some 124jhp from MG!!
-
You guys are welcome! This forum has been so informative and helpful.
-
Thanks for the replies! Looks like everyone loves the shooters come ruin professional bag but I think that might be too big for me. I ended up with the ultra.
-
I thought I would share.... Not the best price but its available. I ordered a few 1000.
@ Cabela's...
Edit: Check occasionally. Sometimes it's sold out but they are restocking pretty fast..... looks like things are coming back to normal.

The shooter connection bag is way too big to carry around. I had one for 2 years and finally gave mine away. The CED is a better size but I have now gone to a good tactical backpack for my shooting and range needs
What type of backpacks are you using?
-
Are the shooter's connection bag made in the US?
-
Wow 60-80 bucks?! I can get some more shotgun caddies with this brass. Thanks!
-
You can use this in IDPA?
-
Was going to check out but shipping is around $25!!!! Does anyone have a promotion code or do they have some sort of discount for forums members?

Hello everyone,
I found some brass in my garage but I'm not too sure what it's worth. I know it's not a for sale forum so I didn't post it there but if anyone can give me guess of what this is worth, that'll be great! Then I can post in the sale forum or get some trades going.
70 cases of "LC79 Match" brass
100 cases of HF 7.62 brass
29 FGMM brass

I'm in the same boat as you. I was looking at the Howard leight or msa/sordins. I know there's a 200 difference so I was asking around as well. I'll be coming back to this thread.
-
The site went down right when I was about to place an order
-
If you order the ultra you might want to order the inner bag too.
Doesn't that inner bag make a "huge" difference? Would the inner bag fit in the ultra as it was made for the Pro?

I think I'm going with the middle one, the "ultra" model from SC. 18\"x16\"x10\ should be a good start for a beginner shooter.
-
I'm just trying to decide if I "need" the biggest bag out there.... So many hard decisions.
-
So excuse another question of mine since I'm still learning the little things about the types of bullets.
I have a stock Glock 34, are the MG 124 JHP good to go for reloads in the stock barrel? It's only the lead and moly (bayou ) bullets I should watch out for right? I should only shoot lead and moly bullets when I get a aftermarket barrel?
Again, this forum has been so helpful in helping get started in reloading.... I'm just confused by some of the reloading components now.
Thanks,
Dan

Hello,
I've been in the market now for a range bag and I've narrowed it down to the CED Deluxe bag ($89) and the Shooter's Connection's Tournament bag ($99, was $139). I was just wondering if any of you have played with either and what are your opinions on them?

This is why I switched to extreme bullets. Quite a bit cheaper. We are doing a group but on our forum.

Where is this group buy at? not on BE?
Up another 8 bucks per case .....I am so tired of everyting going up except our income......this is almost a 12% increase in the last 6 months......I have shot MG exclusively for 6 years....what else is out there though...................
PD costs about the same and are not as good a bullet. Zero's are, and pretty much always have been, nearly impossible to find. Plated don't cut it and cost nearly as much.
Looks like MG is the best thing going. Still.
I'll get a case of MG 124jhp to start off. I wonder if they'll let me try a few 147s
-
No extra process at all! Most have found JHP's to be a little more accurate because of the way they are made. Other than that they are just a bullet.
well, only 8 bucks more than the CMJ, why not!
If i'm just getting into reloading and have just been shooting 115gr walmart federal, is the 124gr a good weight to start reloading at? I know there has been the discussion about 147s vs 124s but I have only shot 115s.
-
Sorry for the rookie questions but getting into reloading. Do most prefer JHP over CMJ? Why is that?
Is there a different reloading process in reloading JHP vs CMJ? I just bought some dillon dies for my 550b so I just wanted to make sure there is not an extra process to it.

Carbon Arms is now selling dummies made from Double A hulls. 12 rounds for 8 bucks. http://www.carbonarm...mmy-rounds.html
I might have to check these out since I can't find the Fiocchi dummies.
-
why are these so much cheaper than MGs?

what type of powder are you going to use with your bayous?
