  1. I have the Midway Compact Competition bag and my friend has the Midway Full size competition bag and we both shoot weekly if not a couple time a week, lugging these bags around they have held up amazingly, constant use for the last 5 months and the look and feel like the day i got it. I would highly consider one of them, and at half the price as some there hard to pass up.

I also have a midway bag. I bought it when I was new to the game and swore it was a great bag. But then I got my hands on a Shooter's Connection bag. Brother there is no comparison. The midway bag is not a "bad" bag. It's just that the SC bag is sooo much better. SC bags are more like luggage. As a matter of fact I just bought a new SC bag the other day. I went with the full size bag this time since I now use a cart to tote my stuff around the range.

Sarge, so you started with a smaller one right?

  2. The shooter connection bag is way too big to carry around. I had one for 2 years and finally gave mine away. The CED is a better size but I have now gone to a good tactical backpack for my shooting and range needs

What type of backpacks are you using?

  3. Hello everyone,

I found some brass in my garage but I'm not too sure what it's worth. I know it's not a for sale forum so I didn't post it there but if anyone can give me guess of what this is worth, that'll be great! Then I can post in the sale forum or get some trades going.

70 cases of "LC79 Match" brass

100 cases of HF 7.62 brass

    29 FGMM brass

  4. So excuse another question of mine since I'm still learning the little things about the types of bullets.

I have a stock Glock 34, are the MG 124 JHP good to go for reloads in the stock barrel? It's only the lead and moly (bayou ) bullets I should watch out for right? I should only shoot lead and moly bullets when I get a aftermarket barrel?

Again, this forum has been so helpful in helping get started in reloading.... I'm just confused by some of the reloading components now.

    Thanks,

    Dan

  5. Hello,

I've been in the market now for a range bag and I've narrowed it down to the CED Deluxe bag ($89) and the Shooter's Connection's Tournament bag ($99, was $139). I was just wondering if any of you have played with either and what are your opinions on them?

  6. This is why I switched to extreme bullets. Quite a bit cheaper. We are doing a group but on our forum.

Where is this group buy at? not on BE?

Up another 8 bucks per case :angry2: .....I am so tired of everyting going up except our income......this is almost a 12% increase in the last 6 months......I have shot MG exclusively for 6 years....what else is out there though...................

PD costs about the same and are not as good a bullet. Zero's are, and pretty much always have been, nearly impossible to find. Plated don't cut it and cost nearly as much.

Looks like MG is the best thing going. Still.

I'll get a case of MG 124jhp to start off. I wonder if they'll let me try a few 147s

  7. No extra process at all! Most have found JHP's to be a little more accurate because of the way they are made. Other than that they are just a bullet.

well, only 8 bucks more than the CMJ, why not!

If i'm just getting into reloading and have just been shooting 115gr walmart federal, is the 124gr a good weight to start reloading at? I know there has been the discussion about 147s vs 124s but I have only shot 115s.
