  1. I would like to start reloading some lead bullets. I haven't really looked into it since the MG are working for now. Plated is just getting more pricy to shoot and I heard lead was cheaper. What are you folks shooting out of these barrels?

  2. Yeah. http://stores.sjcguns.com/-strse-94/SJC-Home-Build-Cmore/Detail.bok

    Ships with:

KKM Barrel ( im loading out to 1.160 with no problems)

comp (11 port is $10 more)

    sideways mount

    guide rod w/ 10# and 14# springs

    Thank you for the response.

How do you like the barrel? I've been thinking about one without the threads since I won't be running a comp but the Lone wolf is $50 cheaper.

What bullet and powder are you shooting out of it as well if you don't mind me asking.

  3. I use a vortex sparc. Works great and I dont have any complaints.

This is a cheap sight thread. I'm not putting a $170 sight on a $400 rifle for my kids to shoot tin cans with. :)

There are some used ones for under a hundred. I got mine for under 100 so I'm sure you can too if you looked.

  4. Is yours only shooting an inch too low?

Just for the record, part of the issue here is that my competition load is the Atlanta Arms 170PF. When I'm shooting factory loads, the POI is only, maybe, an inch low at 25 yards. I really prefer 6 o'clock hold anyway.

It's around 2-2.5'' at 25 yards. I'm shooting walmart 115gr. Do you think with reloads and with a 124gr bullet, the poi will come up a few inches?

  5. Bumping this thread back up. I'm in the market for some RX shooting glasses. Any recommendations? It's 2013 and this thread is 2 years old. I'm just trying to see if there are different/newer brands out now that I may not know about. Also, what color tint would be the one to get for all types of shooting?

    Thanks

  6. I see your receiver plate for your pistol is mounted w the outside 2 holes.... how did you do that ? Mine didnt seem to line up anywhere close to the holes on the belt ..... I just drilled a new hole in my brand new belt to make it work.... Hope I wasnt too impatient.....

I think that's what most people do. Although I did attach my QLS receiver to a tek-lok. The vertical holes lined right up, and it was easy to attach. I just did this, and only have used it in one match, but it seemed to work well. It allows me to slightly adjust the holster position which can be nice, especially when I'm using it for production and need to get all the mags behind my hip.

Do most use the QLS for the pistol holsters?

  7. Thanks for all the good info! I found a source for the two spring trigger kit and will be giving it a try - can't wait to see how it works out. Like Jesse mentioned, I'm mostly interested to see if it'll help my slug accuracy.

Halloween sale on his site right now for benelli products.

  8. Hello,

I'm looking into a belt with attachment options and I've narrowed it down to the ELS from safariland vs a CR speed with bladetech attachments (teklock and tmms). I'm trying to use this belt for 3g and other types of shooting like shotgun and USPSA.

Can you folks give me your opinion or experiences with any of these systems? If you have pictures of your belt, that'll be great too. I hope from there I can decide.

    Thanks.

  9. Drill it out.

+1, drill through the center of hex head, it is very thin. Pop the hex head off, then knock out the front sight with a punch from the underside. Won't be able to save the front sight though. If you want to try and save the front sight, heat from the underside with a lighter or torch to break any loctite/adhesive, then place a piece of tissue over the hex and try turning it, you get enough tension to loosen it and warren sells replacement screws. If it doesn't grip, drill it.

    Will try this. Thanks everyone!
