  1. I just polished mine today , gonna take it to the range as soon as i can and see if that's the fix.
  2. I too have the issue that has been outlined above. I have one more thing that may be worth looking into. I was at my gunsmith the other day and we were checking the gun out. I have the 22" jm pro . His only other thought was that it was related to the shell stop at the mouth of the magazine tube . Being that it may not be smooth enough or slightly too large to let the shell pass over it at times . I"m going to be taking it in this week and we're going to mess around with polishing it . I'll post again if it changes anything . ps. fun fact , this gun has been back to mossberg 2x
  3. 2 reasons, like goat said , the ability to rest your gun against a barrier . Also with your support hand further forward on the gun towards the muzzle you get much more control and ability to transition quickly.
  4. I generally can't reach the mag button without shifting my hand unless it's extended and oversized . On my SS gun i just incorporated a kind of wrist flip / shift where i hit the button and then shift the gun back to my master grip in one motion. Just make sure you aren't whiping your muzzle around too much, don't want to break the 180
  5. It certainly was, thanks for that . I've not loaded cast with lube grooves before. I'm assuming thats' the blue'ish stripe so many have
  6. Hi Steve I couldn't find it on the site, are those bullets coated at all ? or do you need to use some sort of aftermarket lube?
  7. Thanks James , i have yet to test them out , but i like their plated rounds a lot. Nice thing about them , you can usually find a ton of xtreme bullets in stock. Plus one for that
  8. I love loading bear creek hard cast , but sometimes they can be scarce. What is your go to second or even third option ? I've loaded a whole mess of xtreme plated rounds , but i have yet to try their hard cast. I don't mind plated rounds but i'm really enjoying the performance of the bear creek hard cast. any and all suggestions welcome Aaron
  9. Thanks Chuck WOOHOO!!! I may have to get me one of those go pedals then
  10. Nice, i grew up on Long Island myself . Hope to see you out at a match soon
  11. Hi Big Guy , I'm in Hollywood. Once i get my gun back from akai i'll be shooting at markham at least . I hear frostproof is the place to shoot . At least for regional and national type stuff. I'll admit , i have no clue where it is hehe.
  12. Thanks for the heads up Jack. I'm also a former NY'er. Where are you from?
  13. Just curious if anyone knows if they were or will be made legal this year?
  14. Hi Guys, Just wanted to say hello. See if anyone in the south florida area has suggestions for matches. USPSA or 3 gun would be great. I moved away from sofla 8 years ago and just got back a couple months ago. I've heard good things about SFPC and the shoots at markham park. I'm just waiting on my single stack to get out of the shop . thanks, hope to see you out at the range ! Aaron S
  15. Yeah i would think the OAL is causing the bullet to wobble a little when entering the barrel thus giving you the wider spread . The minute angles that it enters the rifling at will def do that . Same principle as long distance precision shooting why you try to seat as close to or even in the lands . The recipes above seem like they would all work fine as well .
