  1. Thanks,That's what I was thinking...I am presently using a 15lb recoil spring and don't know the data for the striker spring...
  2. Hi all, Just curious about the difference in my loadings-I am new to 9mmMajor & loaded some test rounds with HS6 & Small Pist Primers & again with Small Rifle primers(same powder weight 7.5)I had some non ignition strikes with some of my SRP's but none with the SmPistPrimers. Are Sm Rifle Primers any harder than SmPist ? I used Winchester for both.G17 with KKM Barrel & SJC 5 Port Comp & 15 lb Spring..
  3. Shooter 995, Thanks for your data on HS6, IMR 7625, & Win Auto Comp, I appreciate the numbers,I also have a Gen 3 G17 built by Bobby Carver with an SJC 5 port comp & KKM barrel, & I'm using the 15lb spring with a stainless Carver Guide Rod.My ejection port is lowered to accomodate the SJC C-More slide ride mount.I started with 7.0 of HS6 and worked up through 7.5 then to 7.9 & finally to 8.0 where I am now.All loads are with 124gr FMJ seated at 1.155 & feed and eject without issue now. This gun functions better with the stouter loads that it was made for.I broke it in using an 11 lb spring & Rem Factory ammo (lots of FTF & FTE's)When I changed to the 15 lb spring & warmer loads the feed issues vanished.I also believe that the tolerances of the KKM barrel & all the other modifications have to be factored in,& patience is needed to reach full functionalty.I have not yet Chronied my loads but based on your data & other equations I am in the ballpark safely so far.I don't think I will need to go past 8.3 grs of HS6.I will post my results as soon as I am able to Chrono.Once again thanks for the data,it really helps to establish starting points.
