  1. Are all your guns TiN coated? If so, awesome and thats a case full of sexy. Has anyone looked at the pelican cases. I have a 1720 it's good for rifle or shotgun and pistol but not all of them. I know they have more cases and I like the ruggedness of them. Curious to know how they compare cost vs. benefit for one or the other.
  2. From what I have read and heard (unfortunately haven't molested the skimmer yet) is that they are similar in feel but the edge has no pre-trave (the "edge" of the trigger break) and you can adjust the over travel if needed and it can also be brought down to about 2.5-3 lb's (different guns/installer variances). While the skimmer is just a shortened pre-travel and an overall clean up of the trigger feel (smoother and more consistent). I am currently debating purchasing one or the other for a glock 35 limited build. But they aren't the only contenders but that's a decision that is for another time and topic thread. Lol Hope this helped even without a definitive answer for you
  3. Man, I wish I had the option to set up a range in my backyard and be able to run drills. Best I can do is dry fire in my living room, visualize courses I've run previously at a local range and do some static drills at the range (don't allow you to do shoot and scoot on normal range days). Plus living in alaska a vast majority of competitions be it 3-gun, ipsc, steel challenge etc. are non-registered shoots and they are at least an hour away and usually spread out time wise. I would love to have a "real" uspsa, ipsc, idpa or multi/3-gun matches that I don't have to fly to and that are often enough to be able to have to choose between them. If given the chance even without any practice I would go to competitions, paticipate, have fun, be safe, pay attention to what's happening around the different stages, meet folks and shoot! Maybe that's just me. I guess I just like shooting and trying new things too much to let those opportunities, -Ben
  4. Like many of the people are saying dillon is hard to beat the only thing is that they are quite expensive to get into initially. I have a hornady lnl and I really like it, it's definitely not a dillon 650 (which is what a friend of mine uses and loves) but, for the cost, ease of use, quick interchangeability, and simple design it's tough to beat. Especially considering it's easily 1/3 the price of a comparable dillon. With all this in mind and only pressing approximately 500 rounds a month per caliber (9mm and 40s&w) my vote definitely goes to the hornady lnl.
