  1. US Title in Greeneville, Pawn/Gun store has Federal SPP, CCI SPP and Winchester SPP, LPP. Just for your info. I'm not selling for them, just trying to help shooters that have been looking in East TN. I think they are $33.95/1000
  2. I'm good on bullets, but love to buy the hat! Let me know if Billr doesn't want the hat.
  3. Brass?? Hubble telescopes... No, but seen guns (dirty) fail in the heat of competition. I clean my 2011's and 1911's after every shoot. My thinking was every 2000 rds or so I would find a better way of giving them a real cleaning.
  4. Another question, after using the Sonic, How to dry? I have a air compressor at my bench, but have herd of some people using a small toster?? If you use one, at what temp and how long? Thanks
  5. I shoot 125gr RN lead/3.8gr TG.. Out of my STI Eagle = 131 Just my 2 cents
  6. Thanks for all the replys. I called Dawson, I ask about cleaning my hard chrome Eagle and the tech told me to use Dawn and HOT water only. He was not a fan of the solutions and he told me to use a US cleaner only when the gun gets very dirty, not every cleaning.?? Do any of you just field strip and put the complete gun in the US cleaner? Thanks
  7. Thanks, I am just thinking of barrel, recoil spring, guide rod... I have a Para 18.9 Limited and a 9mm STI Eagle (hard chrome). Have herd of people field stripping and dropping a STI in???
  8. I know that this is not the place... BUT I learn alot from all of you. I just bought a ultrasonic cleaner and would like to know if any of you use one to clean gun parts? If so, what is the solution you use? Thanks and if this needs to be moved, please do so.
  9. I just got my STI Eagle (Dawson CRP) 9mm in Feb. I bought it for steel, and when I shot it for the first time with my MG 115FMJ/4.0 TG the brass rolled over my hand.. Bumped the TG to 4.3 and have had zero problems in 700rds. My point, must be factory ammo for test.
  10. I caught MG site up last Thursday morning, ordered a case (4000) of 115FMJ and they were delivered this morning...MG has a limit of one case so maybe everyone has a chance of getting a few.
  11. I have not been able to catch the site up?? Or do they have a NEW site?
  12. Thanks, so I just fax my CC info to MG? The 115's came in a 4,000ct box, same for 124's?
  13. Could someone please post a picture of a MG 124 CMJ? I have gone thru around 12,000 MG 115 FMJ with zero problems in my Para 18.9, I bought some 125gr lead RN that i shoot in my new STI Eagle and really like how they shoot. Is the MG 124 CMJ round nose? Please post a pic of one if you don't mind.. Thanks
  14. Anyone have an idea the cost on the 115gr FMJ/4000ct.? Or do you know the price on 124gr FMJ and how many to a case?? Thanks, TT
  15. I built a Tumbler that will do 1,100-1,200 9mm at a time with 10lbs of SS. I use to pride myself with the best looking brass at the match... I thought my brass was shinny until i started using SS. Now IT IS the best looking brass!!! Inside and out. Save your money that your spending on meadia corn/walnut/wax, and buy SS one time. I clened of .223's for a buddy and he had some "new" brass that did not look as good. I would post a pic or two (if i knew how?)
  16. LikesToShoot, where to you get your lanoline?? That stuff is hard to find anymore.. I make my lube with 100% lanoline and 93% alcohol. I just warm them both in a tub of hot water and mix the lanoline 1/10 with the alcohol. Put in a spray bottle and it's done. Just having trouble finding 100% lanoline.
  17. Thanks to all of you... I use MG 115gr almost all the matches i shoot but bought 10,000 of 125gr lead. I was just thinking of the $$ saved. I did tumble some this weekend and they turned out great. Used corn cob and then but around 300 in a towel and rolled them back and forth until i had the dust off. They all gauge!! Thanks for the input, TT
  18. Thanks for the tip Balta, so no one tumbles the loaded ammo? I know some say they tumble but in my mind just doesn't seem right.
  19. My Para barrel forget it, my STI barrel they drop right in. It's the lube that i'm asking about, do you wipe everyone of the loads or does anyone tumble in corn cob?? Thanks
  20. I have all my brass (that i'm loading that day) in a bin beside my Dillion. Just a couple of sprays in the bin, give it a few min to dry and start loading. You can also just pour the brass out in the box it came in, couple of sprays, shake it around couple more sprays and shake it around. For 2000rds that should be enough, if not just spray it again. You will be able to tell as your reloading if they are lube or not. A bottle of Dililon will last a long time. I made a gallon of lube, givin some away and the rest will out last me :'(
  21. I just got 10,000 125gr lead bullets. I have always used MG from my beginning of reloading, but thought at 1/2 the price I would give lead a try... My question is do any of you tumble your finished ammo? The lead bullets have so much lube that some won't even fit the case gauge until I wipe them down? Thanks
  22. I shoot steel with MG 115gr/3.8gr of Titegroup. As far as I know you do not need to be meet PF in Steel Challenge...? This load is a very easy shooting load. HTH
  23. I would package it back up... and send it TO ME!! Just kidding, nickle loads great, spray a small amount of Dillon (or make your own) lube on it and its great brass.
  24. m39nut, where in East TN? I have a couple of places I buy from.
  25. JGus, the one you have is the 16.40 Limited. I have the same gun in 18.9 Limited. dsk, The Travis model will be a .40, Para has not let them out as of yet.. Go to http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=351022 So I think WHEN the TT comes my guess it will be a .40 TimT
