I never really thought of it that way, but I suppose that you have a very good point. Maybe I'll think this way next time and not become so frustrated...

I use the A-Zoom ones and they work good, but after many many loads (and I chamber them to practice loading an empty chamber). The rim gets chewed up a little bit. Not that much, they are far from NOT functional and will serve me for many years to come. The only big downside is that they are pretty dang pricey.

For what it's worth, I built a new 3 gun rifle and used a nordic upper/lower and a nordic 18" barrel. I love the gun and it shoots lights out! Great combo.

Mine used to be in the house, but with the new addition to my family I had to move it to the garage. I don't care for it being there but until I can get a bigger house that's where it will stay.

Absolutely, in the long run. It's frustrating when you are on the phone though.

#4, make your own #5 with some tubing and a spent case. I have had that for years and it works like a champ.

Ford already used that color! Called it Grabber blue. I love Dillon, but my only gripe with them is getting them on the phone can sometimes take a LONG time. Once you get them they are incredibly helpful and knowledgable. The company structure is awesome, starting people out in the warranty and assembly part of the company before they go to the phones. You end up with not having to transfer people to get good tech support.

I've been shooting for about 5 years now, competitively. And I've never heard this one with the exception of a FULLY disassembled 2011, or anything else for that matter. But I would have to disagree with it being a hard rule with a field stripped gun that has been cleaned that way.

Dry Firing has made a huge difference in that draw to first shot on target time for me. I know a top shooter in the 3 gun world that attributes most of his success to dry firing in his house. Turned me into a believer!

I can tell you that my TTI M2 trigger is outstanding. I've never felt another shotgun trigger like it. He must have added material to it because it seems to have a lot more "magic" than a stock M2 trigger! Also, I have a triangle Versa, and honestly I never could get quite as fast with it as I was with my old FNH SLP. If anybody is looking to get into a Triangle Versa, I might know someone who has one...

I would have to agree with the OP, but also with the majority of others in this post in that if you can win with it and it's ugly it doesn't really matter. I like a nice clean looking shotgun with a mag tube that might be a couple of rounds longer than the barrel.

The one thing that I have noticed about the JP one is the fact that you cannot get a very long sight radius like you can with some 45 degree offset ones on the top rail. I know a guy who uses the JP one and he welded several more inches into the middle of the "rod" of the sight. He likes it, but to each his own.

I love shooting clays with my 3 gun shotgun. Throw in a full choke and I'm ready for some wobble or trap either or. I think that it really does help with making the flying clay shots after they are activated.
