It uses the same shell plate retaining spring, but has a new bracket to hold the spring in place. No more fighting with the tiny screw and plate.

Zooming in on the picture off the website of the new Press it appears to be the same ? Do you have some additional info or a picture of the new one that you’re speaking of? Thanks Tony

@Dirtbag, glad you found my thread re camera system. I installed the camera to make sure the case is primed because there were instances in. The past wherein I forgot to put more primers after the alarm went off. I got carried away pulling the crank until I noticed the spilled powder on my table.

@Sigarmsp226, you forgot to mention the Infinity QB speakers with the EMIT twitters underneath the 301’s 😁.

Not to get off subject but U2 rock knowing the old Marantz looks like a 2270 ?

Thanks!  Is there a way to view this video in landscape mode?  I couldn't figure it out on Safari or Firefox.

Interesting, be a little easier to watch if you did not have to lay on your right side to watch it.

Sorry posted from my phone and if you leave auto rotate off on a cell phone it shows in large screen.

you can go to the post above that and follow the link and instructions and watch it full screen landscape mode.

Gotcha.  I have no experience with any of the Mk7 equipment so I appreciate the feedback.  I really like my Dillon but I'd really like to add another station for powder check so it's good to know I can mix and match without issue.

Lot of extra room on the mark 7 tool head to accomplish just about anything. Sent you a PM

I actually read through your thread the other day when I was looking for some info on ditching the Dillon powder safety rod for the spring setup.  Great stuff.  I'm going to give it a try.

Were you able to purchase a stripped down Mark7 or piece it together?  Or did you just sell or store the case feed that came with your kit?

From what I’ve been told you can buy a strip down Mark 7 personally I don’t know that for sure I purchased  complete and sold the case feeders.

     Thanks Tony

about 10... brand new 1100 and brand new M7, the 1100 runs smooth as can be, the M7 clutch kicks in and locks up as soon as the brass enters the de-priming die!!!

Not sure about others but I truly think 10 rounds is not enough to determine that the press is running completely smooth. Personally I would’ve ran more close to 1000 to familiarize myself with the new press and make sure all the functions are consistent and working properly before I put an auto drive on it with a very sensitive clutch system that might pick up something that you’re not picking up after just 10 rounds. Simple little things like the index not working properly or the primer slide or many other things could cause resistance in the cycling on the press with a sensitive clutch systems picking it up but not known because there was only 10 rounds cycled through the unit manually, just my two cents.

  8. Just a little food for thought you can order the Mark7 now without the powder drop and the case feeder which brings their cost down quite a bit along with their shipping cost and  you could also sell your Dillon  XL750 without the case feeder and without the powder drop,  which brings your shipping cost way down and sell the XL750 without the case feeder and powder drop use those two on your new Mark7  and you’ll get the best of both worlds  just my two cents...

tmz, what did you use in place of the case feeder tube? It looks like some kind of flexible hose connected to a shorten case feeder tube. And what kind of connectors?  I want to do this with my 750.

All the fittings and everything was from Mark7 but I did order the extension spring tube from McMaster card which you can see there if you look at the other thread it gives you the order number and everything thanks
