Mine would not fit. I was told to order an SVI metal grip insert. I did. Did not fit. LOL. I ended up modding the SV block to make it work. It would have actually been easier and cheaper to mod the STI block.

Exactly not this. Just run the range commands -- or fetch an RO who can. They're not that hard......
Exactly this, Jesus just nod.As for expecting any specific timing between "Are you ready?" and "Standby", I have no pity for someone who is distracted by these things. Other than the logical constraint of it needing to be long enough to allow for a negative response, no timing is specified. The only timing specified by the rulebook is between "Standby." and the beep. My standard timing between "Are you ready" and "Standby" is for the person who does not respond. They may not respond for a number of reasons, including not hearing the command. If you want to make the time faster, respond in some way. Otherwise, stay focused, wait for the "Standby" and the beep. Don't let your personal peeves affect your own readiness to perform on the stage. Voicing your displeasure at me over my timing will get you nowhere when the problem is really in your head.
I get the frustration with goofy commands like "gas it up" etc. But "are you ready?" Is a question. Responding doesn't hurt you one bit, and keeps the pacing consistent. Sure you don't HAVE to respond but I can't figure out why you wouldn't.
It may not hurt YOU. There are a lot of shooters that get in their own "zone" after MR I prefer not to respond. You are range lawyering against the rules(I think). After MR, I turn my ear pro off. I am only thinking about the stage and listening for the start of the beep.

Yes. ^^ This. I spent a LOT of money to come to this match. Please use the standardized commands

I followed the instructions to a T. My limited gun turned into a single shot using this crap. Snake Oil at it's finest.
Actually, Snake Oil, as sold by Dillon Precision, is a fine gun lubricant. Originally developed for high speed dental drills. I continue to use Mobil 1. A quart lasts forever.
Same here. Been using M1 for 2 years and the guns runs like a champ

Complete BS, IMO. I would have fought that tooth and nail. When I am in the "box", I am in a sort of zone. I have tuned everyone but the RO out. I am only listening for range commands. I am kind of like a dog at that point, bla bla bla Fido, bla bla bla. Bla, bla,bla Make Ready

Open is the bomb!

Just get a Franklin Vibra-prime. Its alot cheaper and I can fill a primer tube in 20 seconds.
Or get 20 vibra primes. You will need that many to find one that actually works.
-
Is something in the primer rod actuating hole? Something stuck on the actuating rod? Is the primer punch spring broken?
-
Yep. Shoot it until it splits or gets lost. I have some you can barely read the head stamp. probably been loaded 20+ times.
-
I wonder if they will reschedule? that's a lot of work to do just to have only a few show up.
Nope. It's on rain or shine. Harden up and come on out.

Tried them all. DAA by a long shot.

Gump,
You are lacking a sense of urgency in everything. You literally need to do everything faster. When it is time to draw... DRAW! When it is time to move... MOVE! When it is time to reload... RELOAD! You get the picture. You need to get and (or keep in several places) the gun up and running. You really seem to hesitate to pull the trigger the start slapping the crap out of it when you do start.
You see to be really safe. That is where it all starts. Now that you know how to be safe, start pushing yourself in drills.
You can work on all these things in dry fire. If you don't have a timer, get one. Get Ben Stoeger's and/or Steve Andersons dryfire book( I prefer Ben's) use it. Drive those par times in dry fire. Your live fire times will shrink in weeks.

Weather is looking crappy. Bring your rain gear.

1st of all Tracy and I are married. :Secondly, I have issues with how Glock does business, so I sold them off. Thirdly: My sponsor provides my guns, and she still shoots an Open gun too. 4th, buy a real Open gun, that cz just went all gay. (Scott Thompson said so)
Seriously? WTF was she thinking?
She wasn't. She was drunk in Tijuana. She had to be.

Tough crowd in south cacolacky!!
Heck, we rolled north and brought home all the wood at the NC Section last year. Just sayin...
-
so that means about 600 rounds right?
Jim, that should get you through the first stage.
Nah. I'm gonna strap on my secret laser dot that's only visible with my special glasses..... Won't miss a thing!!;-)
Apparently that "secret laser dot" is broken. I have seen you shoot.

I had been wanting to try these bags. Sounds like there may be issues with multiple people reporting leaning and sagging.
I don't think it i an issue with the medium size bag. Several friends have them. I wish I had gotten that one.
-
Mine is doing the same. It is rather disappointing, IMO. It is slouching so much, the mags are at a 45* angle pointing to the rear of the bag.

But if Sitting Bull had a PSE Compound Bow...You don't mean that production has turned into an equipment racesurely not.
equipment doesn't make the shooter
he'd still have been crushed by people with lever action rifles and artillery.
true, but there would have been many more pale faces pushing up daisies before the crushing.

Well add me to the "Dot went out during a Match" category. Really like the sight and was ready to buy another but after maybe 400 rnds it fails...you loose some confidence. The little metal contact tab on the bottom looks like a weak point to me...you are relying on the bent up tab to keep contact with the Batt. If it looses some tension the recoil of the gun will break the contact and the sight turns off. Guess you could bend it up some and hope for the best...might be OK if you check it once in a while.
The Deltapoint has numerous contact points on the top and sides of the batt compartment, almost impossible to break all contact. However those tiny torx screws are a PITA and the delta does wash out a-bit in the bright sunlight...RTS has a very bright dot and the window is bigger.
Guess the fall back is the Classic Cmore either upright/ or aesthetically unpleasing on its side..it does work pretty well. If there was some sort of click adjustment for wind/elevation with no locking screws that would be a big plus...I can handle the sideways thing;)
And THESE are the experiences I have been waiting on. Thanks for posting!
And I was hoping we wouldn't see these. Dang.

I think that is the new version. I have the older one and I like it. My only complaint was the total lack of retention unlocked. I have since moved on to a DAA.
