I know at least 3 people who are B class or lower who have made Master in PCC. I would say our anecdotes are about equal in their validity.I was basing my guesstimate on the fact that I personally know most of the PCC GMs. All of the ones I know were at least M and most already held GM cards in a pistol division(s). Making M in PCC is pretty easy. GM, not so much. Especially if you aren't cherry picking classifiers
-
Sounds like they are in control of their own destiny. I am not aware of anyone that has made GM in PCC that wasn't at least a M in a pistol division. I suppose it's possible but not nearly as common as people want to believe.
If they want to grandbag to GM I say more power to them. They can join the paper pistol GMs down in the 70th percentile at majors. -
I really don't get the butthurt over class. If things were really so rampant there would be a LOT more GM's in PCC than their are.
As of last month there were only 35ish GM's total in the fastest growing division in history.
The real issue is MD cherry picking classifiers to make it easier.
I bet if you look, there are a few classifiers that have been shot WAY more since PCC came about than they have historically. -
PT all the way. I have seen a lot of broken SV grips and Last I talked to PT they have never had a SS grip break.

1. Slow out of the holster
2. Bad reload location. Why did you reload twice? I would have reloaded rounding the corner at the back to keep moving.
3. Should have been at least attempting to move a little on those three wide open targets down the right.
4. This isn't production. You have a dot. You have to shoot like you have a dot
5. Good CO shooters are running nearly open speed. You have got to transition and move like your ass is on fire. -

holster wouldn't be an issue, ejection however could be
I think a CO legal holster would be a lot of an issue with a slide ride mounted on a glock. -
good luck getting that thing to eject mounted on the slide or finding a holster

Im not opposed to this, especially the entertainment value the drama would provide.
I am already running that in the MPX.

Just make minimum PCC power factor 150. Problem solved.

I have both presses automated, the 650 and 2 1050's. I suggest you go 1050. The 650 drive works great but the press is more finicky.
Right now you can trade in your 650 for I think $600 credit towards a 1050 and autodrive through Mk7.
you install either one yourself. The 1050 takes about 30 minutes tops to have running. The 650 will take a couple hours. -

Did they do away with the USPSA Classifieds ?
I don't see a link on the new website.
Thx

We will use 2 Toolheads and have all sensors possible in place. If it can be done in 20-30 minutes we are happy!
Easily with 2 toolheads.

Are you also asking about the time to change over all of the components on the 9mm set up on the press itself over to .40? Because that is seriously more than 20 minutes.
I was assuming they will be running 2 tool heads. If that is the case 20 minutes is way longer than it takes me.
The only sensor(s) you would need to adjust would be powder sense and bullet sense if you are using those. -

Is this including the set up off all the sensors??? This is our hesitation..
You won't have to change any sensors. They will all stay on the press.

I have had my DPP 2.5 for about 2 months now and I love it. The brightness is REALLY intense and it exceeded my expectations! Turning up the brightness makes the 2.5 look like a 6 just a little over half way adjustment. There is a downside though, the battery doesn't last nearly as long as others. The intensity of the brightness obviously takes a toll on battery life. I am on my third battery so far. Not a big deal as they are readily available and cheap, you just have to make sure to replace it before every match and always make sure that you have a couple in your range bag.
If that is happening, you need to send it back. I can get a full year of matches out of one battery running full bright. I leave it on all day too.

Every single person that I have seen have issues with the MPX except one, has been doing one of 2 things.
1. Trying to run the wrong gen mag in the gun
or
2. Running the loads too light
The MPX isn't an AR9. I run my loads at 145 PF and can't tell a bit of difference from a 125 PF load.
The one gun I have seen actually break was a broken firing pin at A4 -

My RMI friend said that's not the context that was written in. It's in reference to "no Sig Brace pistols shot as rifles". If I have a legal rifle, I can have a stock made of cardboard & bubble gum. A rifle is a rifle, "able to be shot from the shoulder".
Your RMI friend would be wrong. It is SPECIFICALLY prohibited. There is no context.

So now you, a nobody, is discounting one of the greatest shooters in the modern sport? And I'm the one somehow not paying attention? Pure entertainment, man. Lol
listen, here's the point - the original point - you can't design a stage with divisions having such a completely different starting position that it becomes a completely different stage, even though they are supposedly competing only as a division. And the loose point referenced as to HOA was just to put that point into perspective, yes most matches don't give a trophy for it, but it is still highly recognized and paid attention to by everyone as it was originally meant to be by Cooper himself. The idea was always to see how a particular scenario/stage can be accomplished, given different equipment and shooters compared against each other to determine an outcome. That idea is lost when different people are made to start in completely different ways or otherwise have such radical differences they can no longer be compared as a whole, which absolutely was the original idea of the entire sport. PCC start with stock on belt is fair, having them start 50 yards from where everyone else makes it a different scenario altogether. THAT was the point. But, in true Internet forum fashion, some people ran in a tangent from my point being correct. Now one of the biggest names in the sport has validated my reference that was ironically attempted to be used in discrediting my original point. Get over it, other people get to be right or make a point every once in a while too.
So you are evoking Max's name as the ultimate rules authority? LOL. Just because he was bragging about beating the field means exactly... nothing. And the crap about Cooper, there was only one division when cooper was shooting so once again, your rant means... nothing. HOA is not official in USPSA. It wasn't even available until Practiscore came into common usage about a year and a half ago not to mention the combined results are skewed and inaccurate. So once again your point means... nothing.
Don't be surprised if "combined" goes away in the results eventually on Practiscore. Just like you don't have combined results at an NHRA drag race. ProStock Doesn't race Top Fuel. -

high overall, high overall, high overall, high overall, high overall.
Thats cool. You guys have shown none of you know anything about what you are talking about and just play forum games, and that's why there are no real shooters here, as I was told there wouldn't be. Done here before the stupid gets on me. Have a nice day.
I don't think you know nearly as much as you think you know.

PCC is hard to do well in matches. It is hard because it is a accuracy division disguised as a speed division. You have to be fast but you damn sure better be shooting A's.
If Finished perceived AD, is it a DQ??

What happened to the "if we aren't 100% positive on the call, we can't make the call"? Are we 100% sure he was done? Doesn't sound like we are.
A lot of intent and personal feeling being added to this situation.
