  1. My Fiancee tells me im crazy as i Live in the Tampa Area but look for "Larger than local" matches through out FL and GA. I havent really started shooting USPSA yet (just a few weeknight shoots) but i dont thinks its "crazy" that i will be driving to Conyers for the GA State Match (7 hours)
  2. Ive found the LW ones tend to come sharp and "factory" Glock extended mag releases tend not to be
  3. Just wondering how far you travel to shoot a match, Not including a National or World level match but just your average sanctioned match
  4. Duane Hit it on the head .... but the only way i can think to practice it would be with a swinger or drop-turner. Most of the swingers at our club are homemade so i assume they are easy enough to make if you have access to a welder and metal
  5. I stepping up to a 650 soon (on order) from my SDB and im wanting to have a powder check station. The problem now is which one Dillon, RCBS or Hornady? I cant find specific information regarding if the Dillon will also "inform" you of a double or overcharge
  6. Their pretty hit or miss .... I have them on every glock i own. Some i didnt have to mess with at all other are a little sharp ... a few seconds with a nail file is all it takes
  7. As my Fiancee would say "Take it to Mr Lee" Find an shoe repair shop not just any shop but one with a bunch of old, "dingy" looking equipment around. The place she brings her shoes, backpack, belts, and a ATV towstrap of mine Is called Shoe repair and Alterations ... not sure if that will help
  8. I shoot a G34 in IDPA and have no issues with either , i did knock down the edges on the mag release as you are 100% correct about the razor edges
  9. Ill be shooting it come November, i dont want to start messing with it prior to then as i have a few sanctioned IDPA matches that i a currently more focused on.
  10. Opps forgot to say Arredondo's As for a rig ive got a CR Speed belt and mag holsters and a Ultimate Ghost holster i picked up from a member here.
  11. Ive been shooting pistol for a while but mainly IDPA and similar events. Shot a USPSA match and had a good time so i decided i would build a gun for it. Snagged a G22 police trade in and my fun has begun. So far it just has a extended mag release and Zev magwell but soon to be ordered is the Tungsten guiderod Zev Ultimate fulcrum, extended slide release and some warren tactical sights. Cant wait to get it all together so i can start building a load for it, and well of course shoot it If im on my way to problems with this set up input is welcome as im always open to opinions
  12. I tried searching and that didnt work out to well. I know there are alot of companies that make barrels for them and ive been told that barrel X , Y and Z are the best but i was hoping to hear from people that have experience with more that one company as i think ill be upgrading the barrel on my "project limited major G22"
  13. Cant say that i am but i thought someone posted contact info
  14. I was once told "you can't miss fast enough" and always liked that saying even thought i didnt follow it but i really like the "dont slow down, Aim faster" it just makes more sense
  15. Ive been using my SDB for a little over a year now. Im getting ready to make the move over to the 650 soon as now i need to load 9mm and 40
  16. The reason i ask is that i started having more bulge issues and recently had the retun spring in the primer feed break, when i called dillon they advised me they changed the design (and spring) 15 years ago so they couldnt send a spring out but just to cut the spring down. It worked and i was happy with the fix but i guess now im just worried about how old everything is ...... on a side note ive also decided its time to move up to the 650 as im going to start loading .40 also
  17. Figured i would add to the fun. Great service and same day shipping. Cant beat it
  18. Live in Largo FL (Tampa Bay Area) Just got into competitive pistol shooting a few years ago. Just now getting into USPSA, Been shooting IDPA for a little while. Started reloading a while ago to make things more affordable. Joined the forum to hopefully learn a thing or two.
  19. I load on a a SDB so the question is more just for the Dillon SDB Dies but i was wondering how many rounds are they good for before they should be replaced? how can you tell its time and is there any warranty on the dies ?
