  1. I haven't taken my 650 out of the box yet but I am assuming the primer catch is close to the one on a 550. Do I need to spend the $25 or can I make my own?
  2. I need to go ahead and order the bearing kit. Im waiting on my house and I am getting restless. I am ready to get my reloading room back into operation. I hear the Mr. Bullet Feeder has a pretty decent wait time.
  3. If anybody bought an extra 223 Caliber conversion kit and doesn't need it now, I would like to purchase one. If not, are Dillion and Enos store out of stock? I meant to post this in the classifieds....Can the Mods please move it
  4. I personally am looking for some of the low to mid level upgrades. I know there are things like the LED lighting, spent primer upgrade, your anti-snap bearing you mentioned, and several other upgrades to make life easy. Other than eBay is there a place that offers these or is eBay the place to go?
  5. I am aware there are several upgrades for the 650 offered by Dillon and other Vendors. I tried doing a search for "Dillon 650 Upgrades" and got 0 results. If anybody would like to share their upgrades with pictures or links it would be greatly appreciated.
  6. my link should not have been pack blocks....maybe i copied and pasted the wrong link here is the one i wanted http://www.300BlkTal...p?f=179&t=80842 But yes its the same one posted in #10 I see you (jmorris) posted in that thread did you buy one? If so how does it work?
  7. Thats pretty much what I am trying to do. I know I will need dies but not sure which ones. I have plenty of my own 5.56 brass so I plan to convert it to 300 BLK. My original post was intended to get opinions on how do that. This is kind of what I have come up with so far: Trim with Harbor Freight mini chop saw using this jig http://www.300BlkTalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=179&t=80801 Next I need to deprime, resize, and trim Not sure which dies to us but it seems the FL size/deprime die is what most are using. I have a Dillion trimmer so i guess i will buy this trim die and milled toolhead when they are back in stock. http://www.bradswarehouse.com/index.php?p=1_11_Trim-dies Clean in my media tumbler and chamfer/debur as I see necessary Then go into loading as usual. I thought using a neck sizer couldn't hurt anything, drop powder, seat, crimp if needed
  8. I did, I apologize for not responding. I am a member on 300blackout as well but I haven't really found much on there either.
  9. Been here for a little while and I will be back in ANC soon. Guess I will wait to watch youtube when I get back home.
  10. Youtube doesn't exactly work to well in Afghanistan
  11. How do you make your 300 BLK brass? What dies and what order do you do it? I was thinking about getting the redding 3 dies set. de prime/neck size, FL size and seating die. What would I need to do first?
  12. Ok thanks for the info. Ill send you a PM once i get everything out of storage
  13. So basically decap in one station and resize in another? I'll be back in the states and reloading soon, so I will be tackling this issue all over again.
  14. I ordered 115gr a month ago and my account was just charged and I received a tracking number
  15. are you able to use a throw lever with that mount?
  16. Yeah.... What you said! Pics are great.
  17. Looks like the 2x12 BRH-1 reticle is the closest thing to the 1x6 BRT-1 reticle. I really like the idea of having the holdovers. Am I over looking a reticle similar to these two in the 1.7x10?
  18. You have made me question my scope choice now. What kind of reticle do those 1.7 x 10's have? I am trying to do a search but internet is slow
  19. I need to come to your shooting range! Especially during the Alaskan winters!Well ..... .... Every time I think I have my mind made up, somebody shows me something different! Guess its back to the drawing board. Thank goodness I have a couple months to make my mind up
  20. Looking at that picture makes me think it will NOT work with the RTS. I do have a JP Scope Mount and their 45* offset rail I could use. But my thermal dissipator and RAMP mount are RED. If I loose the cool guy stuff, I might not be able to shoot very fast.
  21. out of stock on WSP and WSR thanks for the heads up.
  22. You bring up a good point. I would like to run a 2x10 but I like the daylight visible dot on 100yd and even further shots. Personally I haven't got to the point where I fell comfortable or like shooting 100 yards at 1 power. I guess I am spoiled to the ACOG the Army issues. I know people say 10 power will be to much but I can remember shooting a stage that had 10+ pesky poppers at roughly 100 yards. I was borrowing a rifle at the time that was 2x10 (i think) and it was night and day being able to shoot at a higher power.
  23. I am currently running a Burris XTR on the Warne RAMP with a Cmore RTS. I am upgrading to a Swarovski Z6i once I get back to the states. I s anybody running this set up? With the XTR I cant run a throw lever because it hits the RTS. Is this a problem with the Z6i? Pictures would be greatly appreciated!
  24. thats funny. I have got a couple of pm's and read different things in different place. My Wife called yesterday afternoon to see if they sold out. She was told "We never had bullets for sale yesterday (the 15th), I'm sorry you were told the wrong information. We had them on the 14th but they sold out in less that 3 hours". Guess you win some and you loose some... better luck in Feb Sorry for the Thread drift... back to the OP's questions.
