  1. My Kadet Kit on a .40 75B functions perfectly with a 17# hammer spring. Not so good though with a lighter spring. I haven't shot it much lately, though. Anyone want to talk me out of it?
  2. Any recommendations on who could do an awesome grip stippling on my gun? I am too much of a klutz to try it.
  3. I got my 75 Shadow from CZ Custom and not long after that had Stuart work on my trigger. It is awesome. So, if you buy from CZ Custom, get Stuart to work on your trigger before it leaves there. You will not be disappointed.
  4. I thought I didn't need a powder checker, but after having used it for a couple of months I find I can load a little faster than without one. I don't really know why. Perhaps I spend more time thinking about having a smooth, steady stroke now that I don't have to concentrate as much on powder charge. Not that I ignore looking in the case. I'm just not as focused on that one thing.
  5. If your tube is misaligned just a little the cases don't feed reliably.
  6. I had the same problem with light strikes. I took eerw's advise and by the weekend my Kadet was firing 100% of all brands tested. How much easier could it be with all the great advice given to you. Wolff Springs would be a good source for 17# hammer springs.
  7. Had the same problem - failure to extract. Checked extractor and spring - no crude behind the extractor and both apparently in good shape. Replaced the extractor spring with an extra strong spring from CZ Custom. Problem solved. You may need to cut coils off the spring to get it to fit. Try this test. Push on the back of the extractor toward the frame using only finger pressure. If you can easily depress the back of the extractor, the spring may be weak. Hope this helps. ken
