So I am trying to load 44 mags using a 550b rcbs carbite dies and these dies seat and crimp at the same time. I'm using brand new starlight brass. My issue is when I seat and crimp it either leaves a edge where it should kind of smash into the projectile where that edge is gone. Meaning if you slide your finger down the bullet from projectile down to shoulder of brass where it should have a crimp it has an edge. If I adjust the die down 1/4 turn it crushes brass down the sidewall. If I back the die off 1/8 turn I get the edge back. Anyone know what I'm talking about that can help. I hate wasting brass.

I just got a 45 and started stock piling 45sp brass I did this thinking I wouldn't have to change the primer setup on the 550. I am going to be using cci 6.8 powder pistol pushing 230 fp. This weekend my father came into town and wanted 44 mags made. So much for not changing primer system.

I am also looking at the hk45c to carry. I will say its a shame the grip on the 45c isn't the same as the 45s. So I'm trying to find a trade for my usp 45t. So I can have that nice warm feeling in my hand every time I go to the range. I have a gs here that charges 5 dollars for gun rental, plus you have to buy the ammo from them. But I Han swap guns at no charge so it allows you to do comparisons on guns before you buy them as long as they have on that is a rental, they have a great selection of guns for rent.

I have tried to use the link at bottom of page but says unknown. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hello I'm located in charleston. I try to go to the range once a week and thinking about shooting a match just to give something new to try.

I have a tact 45 but I have been flirting with turning it in for the hk45. Up until this past week I was also gonna pick up a hk45c what I'm diss appointed in with the compact because the grip is not the same as the std. Just trying to figure what people like and dislike. I know as well as everyone that it comes down to personal preference.

Well I just am looking for people's option that have shot both and what they like or don't like each for.

I'm a rec shooter, not comp my first handgun was a usp40 I have stuck with hk since because they feel the best in my hand. I now own 3 hk looking for more. I have a buddy I shoot with a lot he shoots a lot of Taurus hand guns. Revolvers and semi he has worn two revolvers out. He calls Taurus sends them back either fixed or new no bs. I buy hk if my hk is used their is no warranty Taurus does not care if you are the 10th owner. People buy dillon because of their great costermer service. Well Taurus needs to stay around longer to work all the kinks out. Taurus has great costermer service. And that is something to build on. If they stand behind them so will I.

Check out what spell check changed to ISP 40. For starters then a good place to buy mags a tread protector for my usp45 tact.

Thank you Jon I was quite worried after seeing how filthy my at firing pin was. I will look at the roll pins and see if I can get it.

Can I put a tatical rear sight on a std usp40? Anyone?????

I like grafs midway and berrys i look at a lot of other places but grafs and berrys tend to gobble my money right up and in the end i have a smile on my face. i did just the other day put in an order of 40s and 45 to bayou bullets and gonna give them a try.
