I'm preparing for my first multi-gun match this weekend and had a question about paper targets in shotgun stages. Do slug targets usually require one or two hits and how are buckshot targets scored.......best two pellets?

Has anyone attended US Shooting Academy's 3 day competition handgun course? I'm a new USPSA shooter and just recently classified as a low B and would like to take a formal course. This class is a significant time and money commitment so would like to hear feedback from anyone who has attended. Thanks!

I just placed a small $38 order with Midway yesterday. It consisted of a couple cleaning brushes, a mag coupler and a safety flag set. They charged me $4.44 for shipping, handling and insurance. I did notice it went out USPS 1st class though instead of Priority.

I finally tried out the transition drill tonight. What great practice. I ran through it 10 times and finally started feeling like it was flowing on the last two. I've been at this since the 1st of the year and I'm a low B in production. My 10 runs averaged a 7.98 with an avg of a little under 1 C per run. Most of my C's were pretty close to the A zone so hopefully I can tighten that up next time out. However, my last run was clean at 6.76 so I stopped! This is going to help me out a ton.

Ok guys, this is probably a dump question, but here goes. I couldn't find the answer in a search. Are these belts stiff enough to wear without running the inner belt through your belt loops? Is that the common way to do it or do you thread the inner belt through your belt loops and then the outer belt goes over the top? Thanks for helping out a noob.

I'm new to the sport (2 months) and went to my first outdoor match a couple weeks ago. One of the stages had a Texas star at 25y that you had to engage kneeling through a barrel. I was a little intimidated of the star and distance and ended up leaving 2 plates standing. However, it was a blast and i'll do much better next time. Just go for it!

Should I get the regular SPR or the extended eye relief model for a Vortex Viper 1-4x24? Unfortunately, my rifle is still being built and I haven't shot enough ARs to know if I like to shoot nose to charging handle. I'm assuming LaRue will let me exchange, but wanted some advice to try and get the right one off the bat. What does everyone think? Thanks.
