  1. How many online forum group members does it take to change a lightbulb? 1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed. 14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have bee...n changed differently. 7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs. 27 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs. 53 to flame the spell checkers. 41 to correct spelling/grammar flames. 6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb"...another 6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive 2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp". 15 know-it-alls who claim *they* were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct. 156 to email the participant's ISPs complaining that they are in violation of their "acceptable use policy". 109 to post that this group is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb group 203 to demand that cross posting to hardware forum, off-topic forum, and lightbulb group about changing light bulbs be stopped. 111 to defend the posting to this group saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts *are* relevant to this group. 306 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique, and what brands are faulty. 27 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs. 14 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's. 3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group. 33 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too". 12 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy. 19 to quote the "Me too's" to say "Me three". (+1) 4 to suggest that posters request the light bulb FAQ. 44 to ask what is a "FAQ". 4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?" 143 to say "do a forum search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs". 1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again....
  2. Went to see the Lincoln Lawyer last night with the wife. It was a pretty good movie. I would recommend it. Good story with a twist. Best part is, she's in a good enough mood this morning that I'm going to slip out to go hang at the dropzone for a while today!!
  3. +1!!!!!!!!!!!! How long did it take to shoot this thing? Based on the amount of footage we get to see it shouldn't take more than a day.
  4. Can't believe the crap coming out of my nose!!
  5. In California? Never.. lol or move that episode to Nevada I was surprised they could do the blow guns in California don't forget they used a thompson a few episodes ago...in california. just sayin' All of the guns are provided by Hollywood armorers for the show. Edit: Well, except for JJ's open gun, of course. They should just come film the show in Texas!! "On Next weeks show Global Thermal Nuclear Weapons!!" We don't have a ton of restrictions here
  6. A lot of people don't like to share a room. One way to make this less painful is to stay at a suites hotel...Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, Doubletree suites.....fairfield suites....etc.. Often it isn't any more expensive and you get a lttle privacy by way of a fold out couch and 2 separate rooms.
  7. Our President....... and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
  8. I couldn't agree more...though it's a bit odd of a response from someone with "Beattleguise" (beattle juice) for an Icon....lol Yeah! It's true. All I can say is, spend 11 years in military medicine and see what happens to YOUR sense of humor!! Oh well! No Matter where you go.....There you are! I understand...I did 5 of those years including a long trip to the sandbox!! Changes the way we think about everything. I stayed in medicine for an additional 8 years after I got back and then gave it up...
  9. I couldn't agree more...though it's a bit odd of a response from someone with "Beattleguise" (beattle juice) for an Icon....lol
  10. Thanks that was good info....Does anyone have any personal preferences on the different generations?
  11. Sorry for the questions but I searched and didn't find what I was looking for. What are the differences in the different generation of glock? I have a lot of handguns, but no glocks and I'm interested in the Glock 21-45ACP. I've seen a couple of good deals on some older generations but don't know what the differences are. Thanks in advance!! Jeff
  12. I had never heard of him. Robert Hansen. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Hansen
  13. The firearm was stolen from someone that legally owned it. After the man was locked up and appeals exhausted it was returned from the legal owner. So No legal issues. I was just curious what people thought about owning a firearm that had that type of negativity attached to it??? Do any of you have other firearms that have bad feelings attached to them??
  14. I saw an opportunity to purchase a documented serial killers shotgun. Would that be a collectable or bad juju? Bad Karma?
  15. Here is the cost of a "high class" caliber conversion for the Dillon 650: Caliber Conversion kit $77 Casefeed Plate $38 Deluxe Quick Change kit $102 Dies $63 Case Gage $15 Powder Check $67 Priming Quick change $80 Extra's and Misc $35 Mr. Bulletfeeder conversion $150 Total $627 I'm assuming 9mm -.45cal What am I forgeting or what am I duplicating?? 16. +1 !!! I've torn ONE and it is NO fun. I've personally worked with THE best in the world and can tell you I've seen a torn hammy sideline the toughest. You've trained with Jay?! ....just kidding Now THAT is funny!!
  17. I'm saying a small prayer. I've been through combat and never thought of how my parents were effected. Now that I'm the father of 3 I feel for you. Keeping a candle burning.... j
  18. I'm glad your daughter is ok. I haven't always followed the no drinking and driving rule. When I was younger I was pretty stupid...I thank God every day that I didn't kill someone or myself. Glad she's ok.

  20. I posted recently that the wife was mad when I tried to take her to the range for date night....what is your biggest (or funniest) screwup with the spouse??
  21. Here you go, you can watch it online http://www.history.com/shows/top-shot/videos/playlists/season-2-full-episodes#top-shot-2-uphill-battle
  22. I personally think Daryl Parker is a big part of the problem with Jay. Jay THOUGHT he was supposed to be the leader and was trying to lead. He was active, working to help the team members. He's not a born leader, but he was trying. Daryl was standing behind his back talking crap. That undermines the team. It's malignant and spreads. So maybe Jay comes off wrong, but he's an amature. I think Jay's intent was good. Daryl is a LEO not far from me. I imagine he has the same attitude in his job. Gives good LEO's a bad name.....
  23. We ended up going to the movies instead....Junkie was MOST correct...Not a dite night destination for my wife...lol
  24. I wanted to take the wife to the range tonight for date night. She wasn't happy ...What did I do wrong???
