  1. I just ordered my case trimmer today and looking forward to it. I figure with that and the case feeder I can process some brass pretty quickly.
  2. Hi Kevin. Yes, with the PTX, it gets a little cozy against the powder measure. Buuut.....you can sand off that "hump" that contacts the measure to help free up some room. I sand em all before they are painted now. i tried that too and it still has a tendency to pull the primer tub off the press.
  3. I think I had to cut the Dillon primer follower just a little. This worked very well before I switched to the PTX powder measure. I am having difficulty getting enough clearance between the powder measure and the primer alarm. I can feel when a primer isn't seated so the primer alarm isn't really necessary but I do like it if I could solve the clearance issue. Kevin I am having the same issue with my setup.
  4. out of town right now..but that shooter in this clip was an IPSIC shooter..any remember his name?? Jim Zubiena
  5. I have both and shoot both and like most people here I think they are so similar it's prob not that big of a deal. I have a Gen 3 17 in RTF2 and I am partial to the texture but my G34 with grip tape works just as well.
  6. I recently picked up some Salomon Speedcross 3 and I will say they are awesome! I would say the are def worth the money IMO.
  7. I think we may try that. I would also have to change out targets but it may work. I'm help with a local USPSA Open GM so I will have to get with him and see if he is cool with it. I suspect he may want stage that has a higher round count and more distance.
  8. I heared of a club in Oklahoma allowing shooters to shoot from appendix carry but that's the only time I have heard of that.
  9. Has anyone tried the Dillon Rapid Trim 1200B Case Trimmer on a Hornady LnL? Tim
  10. I ran the same mags an ammo through my 17 which has the same springs and that gun had no issues. It seemed the bullets would be pointed up just barly out of the mag. I will have to take a picture of it when I go I the range tomorrow.
  11. I recently had a round go bang in my Glock 34 and after the fact I found a crack in the frame. I got a new frame and I replaced the trigger bar as the plastic trigger was cracked. The extractor looked a little funny so I went ahead and replaced that as well. I have had many failure to feed malfunctions ever since i "fixed" the pistol. The barrel looks ok on the surface and the slide doesn't appear to have any damage. I was wondering if I should go ahead and replace the barrel of if there is something else I should look into first. Thank you, Tim
  12. We are going to have 2 bays one with the USPSA stage and the other with the IDPA stage so I'm not worried about making a stage that will work with both sports.
  13. I'm helping to teach the IDPA portion of a Competition Pistol class coming up and I wanted to see if anyone had a good COF that would highlight the differences between IDPA and USPSA. I would like something not to prop heavy and long if possible but I would like to get the main points across. Thanks, Tim
  14. I'm pretty sure Tim means a Gen 3 RTF2 and he's right. I liked my first one so much I bought another. Oops yeah Gen 3 not Gen 2 thanks for that.
  15. I agree with Koski. Locally ESP/SSP put up the best times consistently. I have not seen any majors that had a CDP shooter win high overall. Tim
  16. I picked us a Gen 2 21SF RTF2 and i love it. I have been shooting a Gen 3 G17 RTF2 so it was not a big change from my typical gun. If you have not checked out the RTF2 it maybe worth your time. The RTF2 is a pretty aggressive texture but it sure is nice during the summer. Tim
  17. I have both and I think the case feeder will give you the greatest increase in speed between the two. I agree with the comments about it being a bit of a pain but once it's dialed in and you get a feel for it then it's pretty awesome. Tim
  18. Are you planing on shooting in ESP or SSP with the Glock?
  19. That's what I figured, thank you for that. I have a G19 and a G17 in the RTF2 that's why I'm so interested in the G21SF in RTF2. I like the RTF2 better than the standard Gen 3 grip texture. Tim
  20. I have read the same thing but I was waned to know if anyone actually compared both. I have been itching to get a G21SF in RTF2 but they are pretty tough to find so I may just get the Gen 4 but I don't want it if it's any bigger than the 21SF. Tim
  21. Does anyone know for sure if the grip on the Glock 21SF is bigger or smaller than the G21 Gen 4? Thank you, Tim
  22. Does anyone have experience running a Glock 21SF with a plated SWC? Tim
