the bell crank cube beng broken and the bolt beng dirty are most likely your issue. Are you now seeing why you should clean the powder measure ?

you may wont to weigh those v2 bullets. Just returned 2000. The weight varied from 84grains to 126grains. Cores were loose from the jackets also.
I am Shure they will fix this. But this should have been caught before they were shipped.. This was all handled by a sponsored shooter by the way.

First you still need to take the powder measure appart and inspect/ clean /tighten. You appear to be fighting doing this. Not sure why. Its not that hard.
Next I have loaded lots of promo in the past. Your on the edge of where it will meter consistently. The Xsmall bar make things worse. Standard pisto bar would meter +/- .1gr. Xsmall would be .3+/-. 3.5 seamed to be the "brake" point. The more you go below that . The more inconsistent. The more above it became more consistent. As you stated Promo is a large "flake' powder. It needs a large hole to fall into.

Fiocchi primers are some of if not "coolest" primers available. The winchesters on the other hand are a "hot" primer.
(That is without going into all the technical Terms.) Powder varies from lot to lot. In pistol powders. The worst I have seen is .3 +/-. Have seen
a 3grain difference in rifle some powders.

You are measuring case length not head space. (1.1752- 4)
Is you drop gauge for a semi auto or bolt gun? Do you know the difference?
Does it really matter? Those are the questions you should ask yourself.

That scraping is a feature of redding dies. That is how they "center" the case to seat the bullet straight. I have had to open up a die or two to minimise this.Redding will actually do this for you if you ask.
Especially a 38spl die. Trying to seat full wadcutter.

Yes you can use the 38sc die to seat. Or you can back the 9mm die out so as not to crimp.
I take it you have the "standard" die. It is designed to seat and crimp.

Truly depends on the humidity. With a JHP most of the time Sport pistol gives . Very little smoke. In high humidity it smokes quite a bit.
Last night match I shot . It was 31 deg and very lightly snowing. I used E3. Don't remember it smoking very much.

Ok slide stop is a wear idem. about 50000 rounds.
Slide stop lever is a wear idem because it has a spring attached. 10000 to 35000 rounds.

once you do you wil find that there are "book" loads that make major. There are places to send ammo to be tested.
There are common loads a lot of people use. First hand knowledge Computer program did not work . Several loads it said were safe were not.
Loads it said weren't safe were.

It looks like a euro powder. As stated above it could be a Maxam powder. Maxams website has some pictures of their powders for identification. It does look like one of the CSB powders to me. I had some but it's been a long time ago
